1. Poster Layout Main image Billing box Title of film Actors credit Actors credit Date line The image will fill the full size of the page, to create impact, as I want the image to be attention seeking, yet still with a sense of aesthetic beauty the viewers can enjoy and expect from the film. The main actors credits will be placed here, as they should be addressed near the title so that, the viewers are aware. This text will not be decorative, as the title and date line will be in a decorative font, meaning it will look over done – and I wanted to achieve a simplistic yet create impact through the use of image. The eye flow creates a backwards ‘C’ shape, allowing the view to successfully view all the information while also viewing the image . The title of the film is the most important as it informs the viewer of what the film is called. This will be in EnglishScript EG. I have used this font throughout my planning presentation and fits in perfectly with the iconic and classic influences this film has. The billing box is supposed to be discreet and less noticeable on the poster. As this is the usual case, I stuck to conventions and have decided to keep it in a box like shape, at the bottom of the page in the default font for the billing box, ‘steel tongs’ and will colour it in a darkish grey to make it less noticeable.
