For Our poster, we looked online for horror posters with
scary females, as this is what our trailer is based on. We
found sum very interesting images that we could possibly
use for our own poster. Here are some of the images we have
found.

2. This was the first interesting image we found of a close up, of a
female in school uniform. We can see that she is the killer by
having blood all over her neck and shirt, but also her eyes. The
under liner of her eyes are blood which gives us the impression
she may be crying blood. This theme is similar to ours about a
girl coming back for revenge. I believe this is very affective as
the main colour on the page is red, making it stand out and
symbolising the death.

3. This was another poster we found, it is a close up of a
child, her mouth is edited off, which will make the viewer
question as to what has happened, is she the killer or
should she not speak about something she saw? This is
an effective trailer as it leaves the viewers to their
imagination as to what the film may be about.

4. This was one of my favourite posters, as it uses a lot of editing then
the others. The first background image was of a girl and her eyes
which gives off a dramatic look as to what she has seen. We also
have the edit in of the voodoo doll in her eyes, suggesting a spirit
evil sort of movie. Then we have the hands over the eyes, which is
not the females, you can see by the skin tone also it is more old and
crusty, It has long sharp finger nails, trying to cover the eyes. This
is a very effective image as we have a good range of ideas on what
the film may be about.

5. This is another close up image of a female. We can tell
straight away that she has been tormented by the tear on
one side and she has her revenge with the blood on the
other side. From the image you can tell she had to different
sides to her a good side and bad. This is also reinforced the
cross on her neck, which may show she is religious, but
rebels and goes against what she believes in.

6. From looking at the posters. I have decided that we
should have a close up of the main characters face
which is mine, either with the white contacts or blood
on her face. We may even have both I believe this is
very effective, as we can see that she has been
tormented by the vulnerability in her eyes, but the
blood suggest, that she has had enough and becomes
the villain instead. I also liked the close up of the eye.
Which is such a simple, yet so effective picture.
