demanding.

This school tries to fix different interests
among students offering.
There are a lot of teachers who work as a
cohesive group with the same goals.

When some students are not interested in
some of the activities, parents allow them
to stay at home.

Positive and negative aspects in our school (students)

  • 1. POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE ASPECTS IN OUR SCHOOL (STUDENTS)

  • 8. What would you change if you could change? Please add your comment... • Too many students in the classrooms. • Everything is very good • I would change nothing in my class • I would fix sport material and facilities • I would change the environment, the tables, etc. I would change the school system; the hours per week, because they are a lot, and nothing else... I'm happy in this school • I would ask for more comfortable chairs for the students • I would change the hours per week, they are a lot... only this. I'm happy here • I would like to have more computers available • Nothing • The only thing I would change is the election of some teachers, because of their attitude. • I would change the bathrooms • I’d change some teachers

INTERNAL ANALYSIS Positive aspects that lead to success Strengths • Security cameras • Cleaning team • Cleaning staff Weaknesses • Cleaning staff • It is easy to steal • Toilets hygiene • There’s no nursing staff • Little awareness on this matter • Few open toilets for a lot of people Negative aspects that lead to failure Circumstances that might work in our favour Opportunities • Opportunities to learn through International programmes • NGO partners Threats • Not taking advantage of these opportunities • Not finding my interests represented. Circumstances that might ruin our plans EXTERNAL ANALYSIS HEALTH AND SAFETY

INTERNAL ANALYSIS Positive aspects that lead to success Strengths • Mediation team • School environment team Weaknesses • Lack of interest in the issue • Inefficient and ineffectual institutions • Some excessively strict rules • A lot of students with many different problems Negative aspects that lead to failure Circumstances that might work on our favour Opportunities • Erasmus • Possibilty to hire specialist staff Threats • There’s not enough supporting and on-duty staff • There are too many students so it’s normal to have problems Circumstances that might ruin our plans EXTERNAL ANALYSIS SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT
  • 12. INTERNAL ANALYSIS Positive aspects that lead to success Strengths • There are a lot of different activities. • Teachers try to support us during these activities. Weaknesses • Less activities for youngsters • Less options if you are not interested in sports or foreign languages. • Sometimes teachers are very demanding. Negative aspects that lead to failure Circumstances that might work on our favour Opportunities This school tries to fix different interests among students offering. There are a lot of teachers who work as a cohesive group with the same goals. Threats When some students are not interested in some of the activities, parents allow them to stay at home. Circumstances that might ruin our plans EXTERNAL ANALYSIS EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
  • 13. ANÁLISE INTERNO Positive aspects that lead to success Strengths Students have more opportunities than ever. This school offers different possibilities and support to all. Weaknesses Lack of interest in studies The educational system rejects some students: there are no enough solutions for all of them Negative aspects that lead to failure Circumstances that might work on our favour Opportunities There are regular meetings about what´s going on and a proper guidance. There are support programmes. Threats Some students find the educational system too rigid. There should be more options for any student in order to reduce school failure and early school leaving.
