2. For this film it is a train that is coming towards the
camera on the cameras left hand side and then
passengers getting and on the train. in this
lumpier brothers film it is clear to see that there no
editing done and there was only one shot this was
because it was difficult and in those times they
didn't have neither the equipment or the
knowledge to editing two shots together and
combine them together.
Editing
3. Actual events
this film the lumeiere brothers have used actual
events of a persons day to day life this was
because they had to keep it short and realistic
because of the types of equipment they had
them days also people had never seen or made
a film and it was all knew to them so it wouldn't
matter for the audience if the film was short and
basic because they had never seen anything like
it before
4. Narrative
no narrative was used in this film and you could
only hear music playing this is because they didn't
have the cameras that you could also work with
to add sound this is why the lumiere brother films
are so short and basic so the audience didn't
need narrative to know what was going on in the
film.in the film they had a continuous shot
meaning that they had no cuts and was only one
shot.
