Poverty is defined as lacking material possessions or money, and can be absolute or relative. The world faces issues of overpopulation, too few jobs, and not enough food which contributes to unequal distribution of resources and inability to meet high costs of living due to inadequate education and employment. Bill Gates donated over $6B to his foundation to improve healthcare and reduce extreme poverty through increasing basic needs, removing constraints on government services, and controlling overpopulation by increasing personal income, providing income grants, and expanding economic freedoms and financial services.
