Slovaks and Poles share many similarities as both are descendants of Western Slavic people who predominantly adopted Christianity. They are neighboring countries located in Central Europe, with Poland having both mountains and seaside access while landlocked Slovakia is surrounded by mountains. However, there are also differences between the two, such as Slovakia using the euro while Poland uses the zloty, Slovakians generally preferring outdoor activities while Poles enjoy socializing at home, and differing legal ages for purchasing alcohol.
