INTRODUCTION
ICEHOTEL – a world famous hotel and an art
exhibition made of ice and snow.
Founded in 1989, it is reborn in a new guise
every winter, in the Swedish village of
Jukkasjärvi – 200 km north of the Arctic
Circle.
The Torne River, the arts, and creating a
setting for life-enriching moments are at the
heart of it all.
A hotel and art exhibition made of ice from the
river Torne, each year reincarnated in a brand
new design.
A place to discover silence, northern lights,
glistening snow clad forests, reindeer,
cloudberries, kettle coffee and much more
FACILITIES
 ICEHOTEL is a permanent structure
that will include luxury suites, each
with private relax and bathroom, and
art suites, all sculptured by selected
artists.
As well as a large ice bar that serves
champagne, and an ice gallery.
This ice experience can be visited year-
round and is cooled by solar panels
during the summer months.
ICE HOTEL BY NUMBERS
300 BEDS
ICEHOTEL has around 150 warm and cold beds
respectively. In addition, the complex includes ice
church, ice bar, ice sculpting studio and pillar hall. The
hotel also includes two heated restaurants, lounge,
four meeting rooms and two wilderness camps.
700 MILLION SNOWBALLS
The 35 000 cubic meters of snice (snow +ice
mixture) used to build ICEHOTEL equals the volume
of 700 million snowballs.
1000 ICE CRYSTALS
The chandeliers adorning the Main Hall comprises
1 000 handcut ice crystals
-5 C /21 F
The average temperature of ICEHOTEL is -5 C/21 F,
thanks to the insulating effect of the snow. Outdoor
temperatures range between 20 C/68 F in July and -
40 C/-40 F in January
546 ARTISTS
The suites in ICEHOTEL are designed and crafted by
artists from all over the world. Since its’ inception,
ICEHOTEL has had works of 546 artists.
ICE BAR
No matter what, the place, as well as glasses, is made entirely out of ice from the Torne
River.
The design of the bars is created by known artists from around the world changing from
year to year just like the design of ICEHOTEL.
 In our icebars you can have a drink in a below-
freezing setting, surrounded by the ice from the
Torne River wherever you are.
 Sometimes in the form of pop up bars that only
exist for a limited amount of time and sometimes
as a permanent addition to the city’s nightlife.
 Right now you can find permanent ICEBARS in
Jukkasjärvi and in Stockholm, Sweden. ICEBAR
in Jukkasjärvi was first set up in 1994 and is the
original icebar.
 Visiting Icebar is something you should do at
least once in your life.
 Sip on a delicious cocktail or have a glass of
champagne – obviously the glasses are made
entirely out of ice.
DANCE FLOOR
Dance on a floor made of snow and do some late night mingling
with visitors from near and far that have all traveled to this little
bar by the Torne River
THE ICE HALL CEREMONY
Reborn in a new guise each winter and
hand carved by carefully select designers,
it is ephemeral and one of the most
unique wedding locations that you can
find.
The Ceremony Hall opens December
26 every year and stays open until April
when it begins to melt back into the river.
This is an intimate venue, accommodating
around 35-40 people, with walls and
ceiling made of snow and the altar details
and benches are made of pristine natural
ice.
It is also very suitable for those
considering to re-new their vows or a
DREAM WEDDINGS
Have a classic wedding at ICEHOTEL with the amazing Torne River ice as backdrop.
The original artwork lasts only a short time and the ephemeral setting creates memories that
are extra cherished since no architectural memento exists.
Toast in ice glasses after your vows and enjoy award-winning food in the comfortable
ICEHOTEL Restaurant before spending your wedding night in an Art Suite made of ice
and snow, designed and hand-made by artists from all over the world.
The Arctic summer and fall landscapes
are equally, if not more spectacular
than winter.
The snow is gone and the 24-hour
daylight spawns an intense explosion of
green in June. Come late August and
September, the landscape is
transformed into a cascade of red and
orange, and as the nights get darker,
the northern lights start making their
reappearance.
Our wedding consultation service can
help you plan an Arctic wedding year-
round. Marry under the magical glow of
the midnight sun or in the charming
and historic Jukkasjärvi village church,
Lapland’s oldest, dating back to the
1600’s.

bramble berries, prepared by
Michelin-trained head chef Alexander
Meier and his team.

PRICE
The chunk of money that a supplier sets for his product is labeled as price. Setting the
price needs keen thought and analysis, mainly for inexperienced or new business owners
who mistakenly sense to offer the minimum price or they would end up in achieving zero
sales. Pricing is computed in many ways, like cost-plus, based on value or combative.
PROMOTIONS
The element ‘promotion’ in the marketing mix
comprises the advertising and events to support
the certain service and product. Various strategies
are made to promote the product in the market. In
order to make the end users aware of the product
marketers initiate different promotional strategies
to uphold their goods and services.
PHYSICAL EVIDENCE
The physical evidence that is demonstrated by an
organization should be able to confirm the assertions
of the customers. Although it might not be possible
for the customers to experience the service before
they have purchased, the customers can talk to other
customers with experience
PEOPLE
People are a defining factor in a service delivery
process since a service is inseparable from the
person providing it. Thus, a hotel is known as much
for its food as for the service provided by its staff.
The same is true of banks and department stores.
Consequently, customer service training for staff has
become a top priority for many organizations today.
PRODUCT
Product here exemplifies to the goods and services a
business sells to its potential customer.
In order to peddle up the sale, one must furnish the
proper and adequate information about their particular
good and service to the targeted customer.
The product must be capable of resolving and fulfilling
the requirements of the customer.
Component of selling the good comprises figuring out
the potential buyers in the market.
PROCESS
The process is an integrated buying exposure. From the prime segment of contact,
generally the network or website, to distribution of the good or service.
Nonetheless, the process doesn’t block there, because there’s the post sales service,
and creating decent relations with customers even after the purchasing process.
PLACE
The way of distributing the product is considered as the third ‘P’ of
marketing that is considered as a place. Analyzing the
geographical areas where buyers look for the product and service.
It refers to the geographical location of the availability of products.

  • 2. INTRODUCTION ICEHOTEL – a world famous hotel and an art exhibition made of ice and snow. Founded in 1989, it is reborn in a new guise every winter, in the Swedish village of Jukkasjärvi – 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. The Torne River, the arts, and creating a setting for life-enriching moments are at the heart of it all.
  • 3. A hotel and art exhibition made of ice from the river Torne, each year reincarnated in a brand new design. A place to discover silence, northern lights, glistening snow clad forests, reindeer, cloudberries, kettle coffee and much more
  • 4. FACILITIES  ICEHOTEL is a permanent structure that will include luxury suites, each with private relax and bathroom, and art suites, all sculptured by selected artists. As well as a large ice bar that serves champagne, and an ice gallery. This ice experience can be visited year- round and is cooled by solar panels during the summer months.
  • 5. ICE HOTEL BY NUMBERS 300 BEDS ICEHOTEL has around 150 warm and cold beds respectively. In addition, the complex includes ice church, ice bar, ice sculpting studio and pillar hall. The hotel also includes two heated restaurants, lounge, four meeting rooms and two wilderness camps. 700 MILLION SNOWBALLS The 35 000 cubic meters of snice (snow +ice mixture) used to build ICEHOTEL equals the volume of 700 million snowballs.
  • 6. 1000 ICE CRYSTALS The chandeliers adorning the Main Hall comprises 1 000 handcut ice crystals -5 C /21 F The average temperature of ICEHOTEL is -5 C/21 F, thanks to the insulating effect of the snow. Outdoor temperatures range between 20 C/68 F in July and - 40 C/-40 F in January 546 ARTISTS The suites in ICEHOTEL are designed and crafted by artists from all over the world. Since its’ inception, ICEHOTEL has had works of 546 artists.
  • 7. ICE BAR No matter what, the place, as well as glasses, is made entirely out of ice from the Torne River. The design of the bars is created by known artists from around the world changing from year to year just like the design of ICEHOTEL.
  • 8.  In our icebars you can have a drink in a below- freezing setting, surrounded by the ice from the Torne River wherever you are.  Sometimes in the form of pop up bars that only exist for a limited amount of time and sometimes as a permanent addition to the city’s nightlife.  Right now you can find permanent ICEBARS in Jukkasjärvi and in Stockholm, Sweden. ICEBAR in Jukkasjärvi was first set up in 1994 and is the original icebar.  Visiting Icebar is something you should do at least once in your life.  Sip on a delicious cocktail or have a glass of champagne – obviously the glasses are made entirely out of ice.
  • 9. DANCE FLOOR Dance on a floor made of snow and do some late night mingling with visitors from near and far that have all traveled to this little bar by the Torne River
  • 10. THE ICE HALL CEREMONY Reborn in a new guise each winter and hand carved by carefully select designers, it is ephemeral and one of the most unique wedding locations that you can find. The Ceremony Hall opens December 26 every year and stays open until April when it begins to melt back into the river. This is an intimate venue, accommodating around 35-40 people, with walls and ceiling made of snow and the altar details and benches are made of pristine natural ice.
