and discuss them by following how we have discussed them in lectures and
tutorials. 2. There are links to follow media accounts of the scene to make yourself
familiar with the scene and to begin your research. 3. Conduct research to find 2-3
academic articles or chapters that will provide you a substantive knowledge about this
scene. You can supplement this knowledge with 2-3 non-academic sources from
media. 4. For each SCENE identify the ACTORS in play, their ACTS, what each
REPRESENTS, AUDIENCES for whom they perform, and RESOURCES they mobilise or draw
from. Excellent! 5. Conclude your discussion with what EFFECTS the scene may have
created and whether these effects reflect or contradict the INTENTIONS of the actors. And
