on social media.

business out into the world of social media is game-
changing.
How does it
affect
Marketing?
Marketing has four main
pillars and social media is
expanding on all of them
1. Promotion
Promotion is how the practitioner notifies the target market of
the product, as well as its benefits, reasonable cost, and
convenience.
Customers need to hear about special discounts and deals in
order to grow as a business
2. Product
Product includes not only
the behavior that is being
promoted, but also the
benefits that go along with it.
3. Price
REFERS TO BARRIERS OR COSTS
INVOLVED IN ADOPTING THE
BEHAVIOR (E.G., MONEY,
TIME, EFFORT)
4. Place
Place is about making the
"product" accessible
and convenient. It means
delivering
benefits in the right place at
the right time
How it helps
Businesses are expanding rapidly with the help of social media.
Advertisements and help from Influencers has sparked a new form of marketing,
attempting to reach a greater number through various demographics.
Influencers
Individuals who have a large
following across multiple social
media platforms.
These people are paid to
PROMOTE a business with just
a few clicks and a post.
Advertisements/
Sponsorships
These endorsements are paid for by a
company to help support their business.
Examples can be commercials, billboards,
or most commonly, Instagram posts.
These are a fast and efficient way to
endorse and spread the word about new
products or other business-related news
