This document summarizes a workshop on using podcasts in the ESL/EFL classroom. The workshop was held online from January to February 2012 with 155 participants. It was led by three moderators and aimed to provide teachers basic skills in planning, producing, and publishing podcasts to enhance student speaking and listening skills. Over five weeks, participants learned about podcasting tools and platforms, planned a podcast project, developed projects, and presented their work at a podcasting fair. Various synchronous and asynchronous tools like WiZiQ, Skype, blogs and forums were used for communication.
