I am a teacher whose focus is on English for academic purposes (EAP) and social media in language teaching. I love professional development, both organising and undertaking it (conferences, webinars, chats & blogs in particular). My goal is to inspire fellow English language teaching (ELT) educators to become involved in their offline and online communities. I founded #EAPchat/#tleap (http://bit.do/tleap) and lead the development of academic reading circles (ARC http://arc.fourc.ca).
