1. PNHS 2nd Shift Schedule
A pleasant Afternoon to all! Guests, Teachers, and my Classmates, at this moment of
time I will present my speech and I hope you will like it. I hope to that you will listen.
Palo National High School became known and popular school not only in Palo but In
Leyte. There are new programs like SPJ (Special Program for Journalism) and SPS (Special
Program for Sports). Because of good qualities and standard in teaching, many parents
encourage to enroll their children in PNHS. With this high regard, every year the population of
students increases. The students of PNHS became overcrowded because of the number of
enrolments. This made a big burden to the school, because of lack of classrooms and teachers.
The school needs teachers and classrooms. So the administration of Palo National High School
made a resolution having classes in the afternoon. Many students suffered in this new
schedule. Except the grade seven students who belong to the second shift, they are happy
because they can sleep and wake up like around 10:00 AM. They can do their homeworks in the
morning too. The only problem is for those students who live in a barrio will go home late and
it’s already dark.Therefore the school must build more classrooms and hire more teachers. So
that the students will not suffer in going home late and for the 2 nd yr. - 4th yr. students will not
suffer in waking up early in the morning. That’s all, thank you for listening!
