Peer feedback using the Peerwise platform engaged first year computer programming students by having them create and answer practice questions for each other. Over half of students created more than the 5 required questions, and 85% answered more than the 7 required questions, showing high levels of engagement. The peer feedback approach was easy to use, engaging for students, and explained concepts simply, helping novice learners while iterating the process over time.
