This document discusses plans for a project on the theme of illusion. Specifically: [1] The author plans to do a photoshoot in a natural setting and edit the photos in Adobe Photoshop to create a "trippy" collage style. They will post the edited photos on a webpage. [2] They intend to use augmented reality (Adobe Aero) to create an illusion around historic places in York, where scanning QR codes brings up layered, edited versions of photos from those locations. [3] Initial trial runs editing a sample photo and placing layers in Adobe Aero were successful, demonstrating how the app could be used to distort perceptions of real world locations.

2. Initial response - Illusion
• “An illusion is a distortion of the senses, which can
reveal how the human brain normally organizes and
interprets sensory stimulation. Although illusions
distort our perception of reality, they are generally
shared by most people.”
• “illusion, a misrepresentation of a “real” sensory
stimulus—that is, an interpretation that contradicts
objective “reality” as defined by general agreement.
For example, a child who perceives tree branches at
night as if they are goblins may be said to be having an
illusion.”

3. What I plan to make
• I plan to do a photoshoot and edit it in a collage type way.This will fit in with the theme of illusion
because I plan to edit the photos in a ‘trippy’ style.With these photos I’m going to put them all on
the webpage I made and then write an article as my content.
• I will have a photoshoot in a natural setting and edit it to be like a photo collage like magazine
cutouts.
• Use Adobe aero to create an illusion.

• i intend to make a collection of photos in the style of collage art. I am going to do this by doing a
photoshoot in a natural setting and developing my skills on photoshop and making the ohotos
seem trippy.
• Why you want to make it from a personal point of view
I want to develop my photoshop skills , I am currently doing experiments on photoshop with my own
existing photos
• Why this is suitable for the project from an audience point of view
I think it is suitable as I will format it on the website layout that I made so it is literally contents for
the audience.
• What you intend to deliver at the end of the production
A website with photos

5. How I want to present my work
• Adobe aero – augmented reality. I want to create some form of map or QR code search around
York city centre where you scan a certain part of York or some sort of code and it will bring you to a
different reality.
• I will edit photos of someone outside the minster or in the museum gardens for example and when
someone scans the area it will come up with a link to the photos I have edited and have them in a
3D sort of way.

6. Places I will use
• I want to use natural and historic places around
York, like the walls, garden and minster. I want
to create the illusion that everything is not what
is seems. I will use the QR codes provided by
adobe aero and have them and scan them in
these areas. I want it to be like a twisted reality
where you can walk through all these different
layers of edits. .

7. Trial runs
This is the first time I have attempted to use the app Adobe
Aero. I used a photo from a previous project and edited it in a
trippy sort of way. I kept all the layers separate and then when I
exported the file to the app i could place the layers in different
places and choose where I wanted them and how far apart they
would be.
This is the first attempt I made of collage art. I
wanted to make the people in the photo like a
sticker and the sky something different.
