Jessica used the cloning tool in Photoshop to edit a photo in several ways: she cloned her hair to make it appear longer, cloned sand and ocean water to remove people from the background, cloned skin color to hide a tattoo on her leg, and cloned scenery to make her love handles less noticeable. In addition to cloning, she cropped the photo and used a brightening tool to adjust colors. Though the changes were minor, cloning allowed her to edit the photo in five different ways.

After watching the video on cloning basics on Lynda.com, I was able to use this
tool a few different ways. First, I used the cloning tool to clone my hair and make it
longer in my “after” picture. I also used the cloning tool to clone sand and ocean water
to erase people from the background of my photo. I used the cloning tool to hide fly-
away hairs in my photo and I cloned the skin color on my leg to hide my tattoo. Lastly, I
cloned some scenery from the background of my picture to make my love handles less
noticeable. Besides cloning I used the cropping tool to crop my picture and used a
brightening tool to brighten the color up. Although these did not seem like huge changes
they changed the way the picture looked and I was able to do 5 different things with the
one clone stamp.
