PIAAC is an OECD study that assesses adult skills in over 20 countries. Canada will assess 27,000 adults to provide national and provincial estimates. PIAAC measures literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills. It also surveys skills used at work and collects background data. Longitudinal data will link PIAAC respondents to track outcomes. International and Canadian reports will begin releasing in Fall 2013 and continue into 2015.
