This document contains a summative test for Science 4 (Physics) with three sections: 1) a modified true/false section with 10 statements to identify as true and correct any underlined false words, 2) a matching section to match standard numbers to their scientific notation and significant figures counterparts, and 3) an application section describing a relationship scenario to solve using the scientific method. Test III. Application
Direction: Read the situation and try to solve the problem you can find in the scenario using Scientific Method. (15 pts)
Mr. August and Ms. April are in a relationship for almost nine months. Mr. August is working as well as Ms.
April. Their workplaces are not too far from each other that Mr. August could still fetch Ms. April from work.
Unfortunately, Mr. August was transferred by his boss to their company’s main office abroad and he has to leave his
family and his girl. After seven months, Ms. April can no longer contact Mr. August; neither has she received any
messages from Mr. August.
Note: Enumerate first the Scientific Method before you answer.
