room. It has become more and more popular in recent years due to photo editing software like Photoshop.
In Photoshop you can create the same effect to a professional standard. When double exposure first came
about in the 1950’s it wasn’t really classed as an art form. Now it is accepted as a show of uniqueness.
There are a few different ways to carry out a double exposure photograph. One easy and simple way
involves using a an old camera that requires film. You simply take a picture and on the same bit of negative
film take a second picture. This then combines the two images to create a nice effect. There is also another
way that involves a camera that requires film. First you take two separate images. Then in a dark room you
place the negatives over one another and shine light through them both to create the combined
photograph. With current technology anyone can easily create a double exposure image using Photoshop.
This is a good thing because it means many people have the chance to be artistic. The only downside is that
it looses some of its professionalism.
Multiple exposure can create good effects like ghosting, mirror image or simply combining a picturesque
sunset with a large scoped landscape.

Motion blur photography is a photographic technique that requires you to change the exposure time of
the camera to get streaks from a moving object within a still image. To get motion blur in a photograph
you have to change the shutter speed. You can put the camera into shutter priority mode, this allows
you to change the shutter speed whilst the camera automatically decides the aperture and the ISO. If
you feel completely comfortable with the manual setting then you can adjust everything yourself. If you
are adjusting everything yourself then you have to balance the shutter speed, aperture and ISO. If you
don’t get it right you could end up with an over exposed image.
There are two different ways to capture a motion blur image. One is to move the camera and you could
also have moving subjects as well. Another is to keep the camera stable and then have the subjects in
the image moving. This can create great effects with light. If you only want the subject in the image to be
blurred, you have to ensure that the camera is stable because any movement with the longer exposure
will cause the whole image to blur.
There are many things that are popularly photographed within motion blur photography. One thing that
you commonly see being photographed is city scenes with cars involved. The trails of light left behind
the cars can create quite nice images. Another thing that is commonly photographed is crowded city
situations, if you keep the camera still you capture all the movement of the people walking around.
Anything still in the image stays in clear focus.
