This document summarizes a study on philanthropy in Kosovo commissioned by the Forum for Civic Initiatives (FIQ). The study analyzed the perspectives of civic and business communities regarding their knowledge of philanthropy, areas needing support, and responsibilities. It found that while awareness of philanthropy is growing, understanding varies - some see it as strategic investment, others as donations. Top areas identified as needing support were humanitarian aid, healthcare, education, and human rights. Both communities saw states, businesses, civic groups, media, and citizens all having important roles to play. Donation amounts from individuals and businesses varied, with most giving smaller amounts, showing willingness but also limitations due to financial constraints. The study provides insight into expanding
