to turn Benzene Phenol?
▸ Benzene can be converted into phenol in
two following steps:
Step 1: When benzene undergoes
chlorination in presence of sunlight,
ChloroBenzene is formed.
Step 2: When thus obtained
chlorobenzene is treated with aq. NaOH,
OH replaces the Chlorine in
the benzene ring and thus Phenol is
formed.

combining pine oil and an
emulsifier.7
White phenyle (sometimes written
as phenyl) is a disinfecting agent
made from pine oil. It is made by
using an emulsifier- a compound
that allows an oil to stably make a
solution with water.

enough to hold both volumes, combine the measured volumes of pine oil and
