Common findings include patients fully following prescriptions, not procuring drugs despite accepting prescriptions, poorly executing treatment plans, and abruptly discontinuing drugs. Persistence refers to the time between a patient's first and last dose of a drug. Solutions involve electronic medication monitoring and educating patients about compliance.
