The issue of the origins of consciousness has been a problem that has philosophers
and scientists alike, puzzled for years. Is it a matter of science? Can it be explained
through neurobiological processes or is it just something that simply cannot be
reduced to words? Rene Descartes had struggled to explain this problem through his
idea of substance dualism. This idea states that the mind and body are of two separate
worlds, the physical world and the mental world. He then goes on by describing
himself as a thinking thing and questions the existence with the mind and body thus
bringing the questions of the material and the immaterial. From this sprouts the mind
body problem, the connection between mental phenomena and the physical world on
which the mind depends. In this philosophical essay, I will question whether the
mind and body coexist or if they are two separate entities that make us who we are.
One of the first arguments made in Cartesian Dualism is the argument of doubt.
Descartes starts to doubt the perception of his body, but handedly cannot conceive the

Dow Corning success to date is driven by its relationship with customers. A lot more
could be achieved through this relationship by further understanding the customers
and this is exactly what this new needs based segmentation scheme was able to
achieve.
Dow Corning previously believed industry groupings were the most ideal way to
serve its diverse customers base, but it was with this new needs based segmentation it
revealed more about its customers and improved the way customers are served.
Firstly, exact needs of customers were revealed with this new segmentation method.
While Dow Corning certainly would know its customers before this segmentation
change, but because previously segmentation was done by industry groups, Dow
Corning would approach its clients with the mindset on what does the industry need ,
and not what does the customer really needs . For example, under the Innovative
solution segment, these customers are pioneers in their respective markets, they are
the trend setters, and the silicone products that were used and sold by Dow Corning
to the industry at present would not meet its needs. What these customers really need
from Dow Corning is joint R amp;D, the service and expertise,

What Makes Life Worth Living
What makes life worth living? To build a life that s worth living, we have to all
work together, be kind, learn more and be smart, we need to go get some money.
We can all build a life that s worth living, we need to help and love each other not
hate. We live in a real bad world of hate, killing, racism, kidnapping, bullying and
many more horrible things. It s crazy what we go through and do in this world. If
you asked me what makes life worth living, i would tell you what i think. In my
opinion i believe getting all the money being in love with a beautiful loyal woman
having loyal friends thats not fake and switch up on you, going on adventures and
trips. Having fun living life meeting famous people, meeting different kind of
people across the world, showing love instead of hate around the world and many
more things that makes life worth living. If you re living or do those things then
your a life worth living. If you re not living those things then it s okay, you can still
do it. You can change your life and make it worth living or not i wouldn t know
what to say to be honest. I would probably you are stuck in between the middle yes
and no because of the things i did and did not live there are many reasons why it s
yes because i am a cool loyal person, i been on adventures and trips throughout my

The Degradation Of Solar Cell
Solar Cell Degradation in Space Abstract:
This paper will present the degradation of solar cell performance when exposed to
solar wind in space, particularly in the Van Allen belt region. Also, solar cell
theory is mathematically modeled and described using Matlab simulation software
accompanied by the SRIM software to generate the targeting data. Follow with the
degradation modeling of Si, InGaP/GaAs/Ge triple junction space solar cells when
are exposed to high energy charged particles, especially protons and electrons in the
Mega electron Volt range. In this model, carrier removal rate of the base layer and
damage coefficient of minority carrier diffusion length in each sub cell are
considered as radiation degradation parameters. In addition, this paper will present
the status of high radiation resistant solar cells made from Si, InGaP/GaAs/Ge for
space application to guarantee the successful operation of the satellite.
