IT services can be defined and classified to understand their essential nature. Defining services involves outlining the capabilities that enable business processes, which can include activities like application development, operations, and facilities management. Classifying services involves differentiating them as technical or professional and grouping them as core, subscription-based, or discretionary. Modeling services involves using configuration management to map IT systems and components to the services they support through object and data modeling. This helps present the business and technology relationships between services and allows for activity-based costing that accounts for direct, indirect, and unabsorbed costs to derive the total and unit costs of delivering each service. Evolving technologies and business models are disrupting traditional IT cost structures
This presentation talks about how an Network Inventory Management(NRM) /Network Resource Management(NRM) project is executed. What are the key elements to be considered to be evaluated. Building blocks and components are also explained.

Most CMDB’s have not delivered any real value. Although we have collected and stored lots of data, the CMDB has been a solution in search of a problem. No longer. As IT moves from technical activities to customer centric IT services, the CMBD plays a critical, strategic role.
As we build and deliver IT services to our customers (employees), IT Service Owners will be very visible – and intently focused on delivering high quality outcomes, on time, with service availability and cost as advertised. Without effective configuration management, this cannot be done.
Please join us as we explore the new strategic role of the CMDB, and how processes, people, costs & technologies converge into services – with the CMDB aligning, connecting and managing the configuration items to make this all possible.
We will also demo our always evolving view of a very advanced, self-service catalog & portal, with a focus on the service owner & the role of the CMDB.

Free Gartner Report: Aligning Supply and Demand for IT Services
Cloud computing is transforming how IT manages costs and standards, but its impact extends into how IT itself is managed as a business. Public cloud computing puts pressure on the entire IT cost structure to become wiser and more efficient about balancing the supply and demand for IT services.
While cloud commoditization is driving down prices, IT is forced to manage resulting increases in consumption. The report recommends steps CIOs should take to improve the maturity of their approach to IT service management, installing:
• Benchmarking and chargeback to manage demand for cloud services
• Expand their strategic vendor management and IT procurement practices
• Become a broker of services, including external cloud computing.
Consider using IT cost transparency improvement as a cultural change agent to transform the IT organization from a focus on “speed and quality” to one of “IT cost and business value”.

how to sell pi coins in South Korea profitably.DOT TECH
Yes. You can sell your pi network coins in South Korea or any other country, by finding a verified pi merchant
What is a verified pi merchant?
Since pi network is not launched yet on any exchange, the only way you can sell pi coins is by selling to a verified pi merchant, and this is because pi network is not launched yet on any exchange and no pre-sale or ico offerings Is done on pi.
Since there is no pre-sale, the only way exchanges can get pi is by buying from miners. So a pi merchant facilitates these transactions by acting as a bridge for both transactions.
How can i find a pi vendor/merchant?
Well for those who haven't traded with a pi merchant or who don't already have one. I will leave the telegram id of my personal pi merchant who i trade pi with.

The European Unemployment Puzzle: implications from population agingGRAPE
We study the link between the evolving age structure of the working population and unemployment. We build a large new Keynesian OLG model with a realistic age structure, labor market frictions, sticky prices, and aggregate shocks. Once calibrated to the European economy, we quantify the extent to which demographic changes over the last three decades have contributed to the decline of the unemployment rate. Our findings yield important implications for the future evolution of unemployment given the anticipated further aging of the working population in Europe. We also quantify the implications for optimal monetary policy: lowering inflation volatility becomes less costly in terms of GDP and unemployment volatility, which hints that optimal monetary policy may be more hawkish in an aging society. Finally, our results also propose a partial reversal of the European-US unemployment puzzle due to the fact that the share of young workers is expected to remain robust in the US.

USDA Loans in California: A Comprehensive Overview.pptxmarketing367770
USDA Loans in California: A Comprehensive Overview
If you're dreaming of owning a home in California's rural or suburban areas, a USDA loan might be the perfect solution. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers these loans to help low-to-moderate-income individuals and families achieve homeownership.
Key Features of USDA Loans:
Zero Down Payment: USDA loans require no down payment, making homeownership more accessible.
Competitive Interest Rates: These loans often come with lower interest rates compared to conventional loans.
Flexible Credit Requirements: USDA loans have more lenient credit score requirements, helping those with less-than-perfect credit.
Guaranteed Loan Program: The USDA guarantees a portion of the loan, reducing risk for lenders and expanding borrowing options.
Eligibility Criteria:
Location: The property must be located in a USDA-designated rural or suburban area. Many areas in California qualify.
Income Limits: Applicants must meet income guidelines, which vary by region and household size.
Primary Residence: The home must be used as the borrower's primary residence.
Application Process:
Find a USDA-Approved Lender: Not all lenders offer USDA loans, so it's essential to choose one approved by the USDA.
Pre-Qualification: Determine your eligibility and the amount you can borrow.
Property Search: Look for properties in eligible rural or suburban areas.
Loan Application: Submit your application, including financial and personal information.
Processing and Approval: The lender and USDA will review your application. If approved, you can proceed to closing.
USDA loans are an excellent option for those looking to buy a home in California's rural and suburban areas. With no down payment and flexible requirements, these loans make homeownership more attainable for many families. Explore your eligibility today and take the first step toward owning your dream home.

2. Define IT Services
One or more IT or professional capabilities that enables a business process. It could be Application Development,
Operations, Facilities Management, IT Support, Hosting, Security, Service Delivery, IT or Architectural Planning Etc.
Classify Services
Classification in IT needs to be done at various levels. Differentiate system and service separately. Service can be
further classified into two types as Technical or Professional Services.
Also it is necessary to understand services from three different classifications 1. Core Services 2.Subcription/License
based services & 3. Discretionary Services.
Model (System &
Service)
Services and system enabling a business process is defined and classified, next critical step is to model those
services using Configuration management process. Through object and data modeling techniques database of CI ,
its attributes and relationship that connects them to be created to present business and technology view/
ABC Costing
Derive all related costs and expenses at a defined IT activity or service. Further all costs needs to be accounted. i.e.
direct cost: one which could directly attributable to IT activity or service, indirect cost/shared cost: Cost which
needs to be shared across number of customers & Unabsorbed costs: Ex: General administrative expenses.
Drivers & Allocation
Methodology
Define drivers for each category of cost. Particularly shared cost and follow a business relevant allocation
methodology.
Total Cost <-> Unit Cost
Break down the Total Cost of a service into small unit. Cost Unit is breakdown of entire service cost into a unit
which could be allocated to a consumer.

functional boundaries.
•Common categories of services Application development, Operations, Facilities Management,

• Map IT Components to IT Systems: This step is the function of ITIL configuration management process
and this step serves as a hub for information sharing and processing. Each Configuration item(CI) is an
asset. Following are the classification of basic components
Physical CI: Server, Switch, Application, database, documents etc
Logical CI: IT Services, Systems, etc
CI Attributes: CPU Speed, Memory, Version, Author, Purchasing date etc
CI Relationships: Parent-Child, hosts, Installed-on, provides data feed etc

No
•Software/hardware as Service: Pay as you Use: Infrastructure as
service, Software as Service has shifted the cost structure from fixed
to variable based on usage.
Example: From MS Exchange server Software License cost for “Email
Service”, Now MS 360 on cloud where in Organization pay for only
usage in a given period.
•Non-Linear business model: Focus on Non-linear business models to
have own IP has changed the cost structure on investment as well as
operations side.
Example: Good IP needs at least 1-2 years from R&D division before
it hits the market for revenue generation unlike services where
revenue generation based milestone billing.
Hence, Cost drivers for various underlying cost elements have
undergone change. Organizations needs to adapt quickly to these
new drivers to stay relevant and efficient to have better financial
control over cost.
