Perspective is a technique in art that makes objects appear three-dimensional by drawing lines that converge at a single vanishing point, making edges appear to recede into the distance. Artists use perspective by establishing a horizon line with a vanishing point and then drawing lines from the corners of objects back to that point to create the illusion of depth as the lines disappear towards the point.
