Richard II Authority
Richard II was a play that was written by William Shakespeare in his earlier days (1398). This
particular play is considered to be his 1st in his history of the tetralogy, which is a series of four
games. In this particular piece of literature the author points out several different factors; however, the
most relevant factors are in regards to kingship and the role of authority figures and how these
characters intertwined within our perception of the way we operate as a community or in this case in
England. My understanding of this play is that you have those within life that are all talk and those
that are doers such as leaders. The literacy contributes to the present moments in history such as this
past election of Donald Trump our new profound ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Gaunt states, This other Eden, demi paradise (Bevington, 2014 p.341). He is only specifying that
England symbolically is a replica of the Garden of Eden. In his speeches, they are powerful due to his
imagery descriptions and the visuals he leaves his readers with once he has delivered a speech. Also,
within Act 3 scene 4 he mentions the garden again by saying, Thou, old Adam s likeness set to dress
this garden (Bevington, 2014 p.356). All of which correlates back to the biblical era when Adam and
Eve were in the Garden and their desire associated with the landscape of the garden whereas God had
prepared a special place for them to live. Therefore, the imagery perceived from the garden is a
beautiful place because he refers to the location as paradise. Now, as a child, my family lived in
Hawaii, which too was referred to as paradise due to the beautiful landscaping of the body of waters
surrounding the Island, passion fruit, trees, and the vibrant color scheme that was visual to the five
senses. All of these elements made our experience of living there resemble elements of paradise, while
here on Earth. In another passage, Gaunt refers to England as a blessed plot which means he believes
the land is sacred and holy. My perceptive of this statement were linked to the jewel he compares
England to a precious stone (Bevington, 2014 p.341). He takes his beliefs

Airline Ticket Prices
Airline Ticket Prices
Jodie L. Hebner
Grantham University
An airline s ticket price is determined by several factors to include time of day a consumer wishes to
travel, day of the week such as Tuesday s and Thursday s are usually the most affordable days to
travel, popular versus non popular destinations, first class costs more than general class, cost of fuel,
competition from other airlines, special factors such as discounts for military, government or corporate
personnel, (How Stuff Works, n.d.) Airlines are constantly analyzing how much consumers are willing
to pay and pushing consumers to pay more.
Airlines have used numerous models and computer programs to manage revenue throughout time.
These models and computer programs have ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Airlines must be able to make a profit when setting ticket prices. By comparing the demand curve
with the average total cost curves for each airplane type, the airline can determine which size airplane
will maximize profits for a given flight. (Kons, n.d.)
In summary, as with any product, from airline tickets to gasoline prices consumers have continued to
pay the increased fares, so the airlines have become bolder in driving the prices up even further.
(Smith, CNNMoney, 2011) Consumers, their desire, need and want for an item or service will always
affect supply, demand, and cost curve. Most organizations have the same goal, which is to make a
profit while keeping their costumers happy.

My Creation Of A Soundtrack For Octavia E. Butler s...
Soundtracks to films often strive to represent the themes and feeling of the film, and direct the
audience towards particular emotions. A good soundtrack not only allows for the listener to understand
the film better, but it should also bring to mind particular scenes, images, or characters. Soundtracks
for books can do the same. In my creation of a soundtrack for Octavia E. Butler s Parable of the
Sower, I strove to encompass Lauren s journey throughout the novel and the various emotions that she
experiences. Since Lauren is reflecting on her experiences, her journey becomes central to how the
audience feels and experiences the emotional aspects of the book. The songs not only represent
Lauren, but also the entire feel and theme of the text. The songs follow along with Lauren, with her
despair, death, and the need for survival. As I scoured through song after song, I tried to connect each
song choice with a particular moment in Lauren s story and the hopelessness of a dystopian future
Butler warns her audience about. The first track is Things We Lost in the Fire by the band Bastille, and
is one of the more literal song selections about the event that triggers the rest of the events in the story
to occur: the death of her father, the pyros, the destruction of her community. The song is literally
about things that burn up and leave, never to be seen again. Fire plays a key role in the fear aspect of
the book; fire is synonymous with chaos. Not only does the song

Empirical Examination Of Breastfeeding And Physical...
Empirical examination of Breastfeeding and Physical Engagement regarding Academic Alice Park
from TIME magazine wrote an article called, Study: Breastfeeding Improves Academic Performance,
Especially for Boys. Park targets expecting parents, particularly mothers to explain the outcomes
associated with breastfeeding. Park recommends mothers to breastfeed their babies because the
nutrients in breast milk help improve academic performance in children, especially in boys as they
develop later in life. It is recommended that the mother breastfeed the baby for at least six months, but
the mother should extend this time for boys because it shows an increase in their academic
performance. To back up the advice, Park presents a study conducted ... Show more content on

The second piece of advice recommends keeping children physically engaged, by this it means to have
the children be active participants in their learning to have a mind body connection. It has been found
that physical movements make certain parts of the brain light up and increase engagement. These
pieces of advice will be described below to provide further information.
Breastfeed Babies for At Least Six Months to Increase Academic Performance Susan Tawia s article,
Breastfeeding, brain structure and function, cognitive development and educational attainment,
discusses the outcomes of breastfeeding on a child s cognitive development through observation of IQ
scores and brain structure development. It was hypothesized that children who breastfed would have
better developmental outcomes in terms of education and social than those who were artificially fed.
The main method in which the results were obtained were in terms of observation. Researchers
observed and measured head circumference, saw the inside of brain development to view important
growth within the brain, such as myelin sheath, and in the 1980s, they randomly selected a small
number of mothers to breastfeed their children to eliminate bias and answer the question with an
experiment. In the elementary school years, it was found that the mean difference in IQ scores

Major Themes In Sylvia Plath s The Bell Jar
The Bell Jar is a roman à clef, which is defined as a true story with changed names. That being said,
many of the events included in this book are believed to be events that really happened to the author,
Sylvia Plath. A large part of these events revolve around a major theme, which is being trapped within
mental illness. Esther, the main character that is based off of Plath s personal journey through mental
illness, suffers from one and even tries to commit suicide multiple times. She is very unhappy with her
life along with the treatments that psychiatrists have her undergo. Many dated psychiatric treatments
did not help patients, and could have even caused them more harm due to lack of research and
knowledge about effects of the treatments. Esther is a great example of a patient that could have had a
different life if she had received different care.
Psychology has made many advances over the course of the last sixty years. Some of these advances
include a better understanding of the brain, and other advances include a better way to treat the brain.
In The Bell Jar, Esther suffered from a mental illness and had many opportunities to receive help, but
because psychology and therapy was not advanced at that time she did not receive much help at all.
When Esther initially visits a therapist she spends quite a bit of time revealing to him how she was
unable to sleep, drink, or eat and Dr. Gordon asks her a single question before changing the subject
and discussing her

The Importance Of Free Day At School
When all of the children enter the room, they are automatically greeted with the song, The Ants Are
Marching . This will get them excited for another day at school. After the song, any announcements
that need to be made will be said and children will then be dismissed to free play at the center of their
choosing.
This free play time at any center will give the children time to socialize and talk about any exciting
news they have with their friends so that they will be quieter through the lessons that are planned the
rest of the day. During this time the teacher is free to check in on any kids if need be.
The children will know that free time is done once the teacher rings the bell. After the children quiet
down the teacher will then begin to sing The Soap on Your Hands . The children will know that when
this song is sung that it is time for then to wash their hands. Once they are done washing their hands,
the teacher will instruct the kids to get to their assigned seat.
Breakfast will be served once all of the children are seated. Wednesday the breakfast will be whole
grain oatmeal that has raspberry halves, strawberry quarters, and blueberries in it. Children will wash
this delightful meal down with a nice glass of ice cold 2% milk. Once each child is finished eating,
they will put their plates and silverware on a tray for the teacher to take care of.
At 8:13, the children will be directed to the group rug for Stretch Time . Stretch Time is a chant that

The Effects Of The Watergate Scandal
Many people, myself included look up to individuals in an authoritative role such as; senators,
governors, and presidents. We view them as being honest and sincere. They have to be right? They do
want to run the country after all. Often our thoughts are they would never lie to us or hide things from
us , but unfortunately that s not always the case. One of the biggest political scandals to hit the United
States of America was the Watergate scandal involving our very own President Richard Nixon. This
scandal caused a lot of American s to lose trust and hope in the presidency. The scandal received its
name from the Watergate apartment and office complex that was located in Washington D.C., where a
burglary took place on June 17, 1972 and five men were arrested. It then came to surface that the men
s intentions were to sabotage the opposite political party, when president Nixon was notified of this he
order the Central Intelligence Agency to call the FBI to stop with any further investigation, that
national security was at stake. President Nixon knew that it would come back to the White House and

refused to turn them over. In response, Nixon ordered his Attorney General Eliot Richardson to fire
Cox; Richardson refused and resigned as did his deputy, William Ruckelshaus. Cox was eventually
fired by the Solicitor General, Robert Bork. This was known as the Saturday Night Massacre and
provoked a huge outcry at Nixon s abuse of power. On December 8, 1973, Nixon released seven of the

Why Is Rite Of Passage And Varieties Of Human Beings And...
If we take a close look at human origins, development and varieties of human beings and their
societies from a personal perspective, we can to comprehend ones culture from their point of view.
Observing another culture without your personal convictions influencing your hypothesis is nearly
impossible. With this being said, we must utilize the emic and etic methods during observation, as
instructed by anthropologists. These two different methods let the researcher obtain perspective from
the outside and from within the social group. In most cases we observe from an outsiders view (etic),
but to actually understand and experience another culture or society, one must become an insider
(emic), or become part of the culture to fully understand the viewpoints of another social group.
During the course of this paper I will examine and explain the importance of rite of passage through
etic perspective in order to portray the view of an outsider. The experience that I encountered and its
importance in the society in which I lived in will be discussed. I will explain the significance of the
rite of passage and the consequences based on historical events. Rites of passage are something that
was more accepted in past generations, still existing today just not as evident as they once were. I will
also examine the extreme following of suicide terrorists in the Middle East region, their methods of
recruiting and motivations that drive them to execute these evil orders. I will compare the

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Caste
Some disadvantaged groups in India which are identified on caste basis have been discriminated
against for centuries, and are still not protected despite the numerous laws. These groups are to be
provided with equality of opportunity and autonomy and more importantly a social safety net was
needed that is a boost or ladder is required so that the more advanced forms of equality can be
introduced and society can be balanced. Constitution provided reservations for SC/ST s in this context
and is called fair discrimination. The key point here in the practice of this is there are no people from

Marketing Plan For Pomegranate Kitchens
4. Market Product focus
4.1 Market and product objectives
Pomegranate kitchens currently consists of corporate consumers mostly and a sizeable general market
that is gained from online campaigns and WOM. This is a great niche; bit in order to expand the
revenue and consumer base, the business should reach out to consumers outside of these locations.
This will be executed with their new targeted marketing tactic and launch of new innovative/unique
product. Pomegranate Kitchen aims to be sustainable in the next few years and with this positioning
tactic, it seems very doable if Pomegranate Kitchens are targeting the markets with appropriate plans.

The target market for in office catering is corporate partners who want to increase the philanthropic
works in their business. These businesses will have a triple bottom line or an imperative to incorporate
some ethical aspects into their day to day business. Targeting Managers and above with this prospect
means, direct office Executive Assistants and Administrative workers to use Pomegranate Kitchens
services.
The Business also wishes to target government agencies, of which there are many in Wellington, using
the methods above. In particular, government agencies who are involved with immigration and
refugee resettlement will be targeted, such as the Department of Internal Affairs (including Office of
Ethnic Affairs); The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (including Immigration New
Zealand); and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
Markets for future growth
One market for anticipated future growth is packaged ingredients or goods that are connected to our
menus, such as spice rubs or condiments for people to use at home. The target market for this is the
customers of artisanal gourmet grocery establishments like Moore Wilson s. These

The Ethics Of Ford Pinto
PINTO FIRES CASE
The assumption that it s easy to be ethical assumes that individuals automatically know that they are
facing an ethical dilemma and that they should simply choose to do the right thing. But decision
makers may not always recognize that they are facing a moral issue. Rarely do decisions come with
waving red flags. Dennis Gioia was recall coordinator at Ford Motor
Company in the early 1970s when the company decided not to recall the Pinto despite dangerous fires
that were killing the occupants of vehicles involved in low impact rear end collisions. In his
information and overloaded recall coordinator role, Gioia saw thousands of accident reports, and he
followed a cognitive script that helped him decide which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The means were limited design time and reducing costs. By cutting costs, Ford knowingly created a
product which could prove dangerous and fatal to its consumers. Does Ford s ends justify its means?
Ford did create a sub compact that sold extremely well and competed fiercely with foreign imports.
The goal of the Ford Pinto was met. The costs of this win were substantial however. The money that
Ford tried to save by not recalling the vehicle was spent when Ford recalled the Pinto, and extra was
spent in compensatory and punitive damages in lawsuits. So the costs that Ford tried to avoid were
incurred anyway along with extra. A similar ethical concept to Utilitarianism is that of Rawl s Theory
of Justice. Within his theories he states that for something to be both ethical and just it must not
infringe on the basic rights and liberties of a person, nor give advantage to any one group but to all
with positions and offers available to all equally. In reference to the Ford Pinto, the second statement
is upheld. The Pinto being a relatively cheap car which was often a starter vehicle, and as long as a
person had the funds and a driver s license, they could own the vehicle. So the design process general
design itself was both fair and ethical to Rawls when regarding the second of his two theories of
justice. The first theory can be up to interpretation. The only rights or liberties that might have been
infringed upon are those of safety

Teaching Strategies For Using Geometric Growing Patterns...
PART A Markworth (2012) suggests ways students can learn algebraic concepts and geometric
patterns by developing an understanding of functional thinking. Growing patterns are a useful
counting method that allows students to engage with algebra. Geometric growing patterns best support
student s ability to develop functional thinking which is essential. This article outlines three teaching
strategies for using geometric growing patterns, these are: Promoting various ways of seeing

Markwell (2012) states that seeing methods of growing patterns and its structure are useful ways of
counting. Ways of counting is the second teaching method for calculating functional relationships
from the dependent variable. More advanced geometric patterns are a useful analysis towards
identifying a way of seeing that leads to a way of counting which is important for students. Markwell
(2012) further highlights that a two column graph draws upon a vertical relationship in the right hand
column. It is then noted that this will promote recursive thinking as it highlights only the dependent
variable and its progression. To developing a high functional thinking, it is required to understand the
horizontal relationship between independent and dependant variables. Markwell (2012) highlights the
third teaching strategy would be to introduce a three column graph with calculations in the middle
which enables students to understand functional relationships (words, symbols and variables), this

three column tables will enable students to connect the independent and dependent variable in an
explicit functional relationship. It is further stated in this article that students are introduced to
functional thinking in early stages of schooling. It is taught as a guess and

The Holocaust And The Treatments Of The Holocaust
Imagine being in a place with horror, abandonment, torture, suffering, famine, and misery; in a place
of death, abuse, a hopeless state of mind; dying is better than going through something like this. This
is the exact portrayal of what the victims of the Holocaust have gone through. The Holocaust was the
mass slaughter of (mostly) Jews prior to World War II. They put them into concentration camps and
more than six million Jews were killed. The Nazi Party were heartless, immoral, and inhumane people
who treated the Jews like animals. They thought that the Jews were the reason for the failing economy
of Germany. The Nazi party believed they were doing the right thing to annihilate the race of Jews, but
no one ever has an excuse to torture people who have done nothing wrong; Jews were experimented
on, enslaved, brutalized, and killed; no one should ever go through something like the Jews have
during the Holocaust.
The Nazis performed sadistic experiments on victims during the holocaust without their consent for
the Nazi party advantages. Some victims were froze and heated to death with hypothermia and
sunlamp experiments. Two main ways they used to freeze the victim were to put the person in a icy
vat of water or to put the victim outside naked in sub zero temperatures. (Medical Experiments of the
Holocaust and Nazi Medicine, n.d.) To heat victims, they would put them under sunlamps and waited
until their skin was burned. One victim was repeatedly cooled to unconsciousness

ETHICAL ISSUES IN BUSINESS 3 closing the stores they could have done community outreach or

multitude of programs they could have implemented, some could probably have been used as a tax

stores they should have made every effort to be sure that the displaced employees were able to find a
job in another store or assisted them in being placed in another job. They also need to make every
attempt to keep the building they were using occupied or cleaned up until it is occupied. How do these
actions contribute to being socially responsible? It shows they care about their community, that even

John Rawls And John RawlsPrinciples Of Justice
Views on social justice are highly important to defining the roles of the state within society. The
perspectives presented by John Rawls and Robert Nozick demonstrate two extremely different views
of societal justice and the roles that the state should have in society. Each of these philosophers give
their own principles of justice, which are sets of rules society must follow in order to be just. In this
paper, I will analyze the views of each of these thinkers. I will also argue that the Rawls principles of
justice are preferable to Nozick s due to Nozick s lack of focus on societal inequalities.
To understand Rawls principles of societal justice, it is important to first define exactly what a society
is. Rawls defines society as a group of people who cooperate and follow the same rules in order to
better their lives. While a society creates benefits, such as increased overall wealth, burdens like taxes
are also created. Most members of society would find more benefits and less burdens to be desirable,
and as a result, Rawls believes that principles of justice are needed to distribute these fairly.
In order to create a just society, Rawls argues that the institutions within society must be guided by the
principles of justice. Rawls definition of an institution includes both political or constitutional
structures and economic or social arrangements. Examples of institutions by Rawls definition include
social practices such as monogamy in family life. According to

Using Material from Item a and Elsewhere, Asses the View...
Using material from item A and elsewhere assess the view that social class differences in educational
achievement are the result of school processes such as labelling.
Social class is typically known as social grouping or hierarchy based on differences in wealth, income
or occupation. In the UK there are mainly two social classes; working class and middle class.
33% of students who are currently on free school meals achieve 5A* C at GCSE, however 61% of
students who are not on free school meals also achieve 5A* C grades. 90% of the failing school are

This can affect those less able because it foes against the main stream. This is backed up by Gilbourn

to their decisions of which pupils have the potential to achieve 5A* C grade gcse s. Neil Keddie then
argues that the more intelligent students get taught more complex and advanced information and
methods while the students in the lower sets are not recognised and being left behind. However
Rosenthal and Jacobson performed an experiment where they picked random students from the class
who were also working class and told teachers they are able to improve, this later resulted in teachers
spending more time with these selected students which made them improve and achieve better.
Therefore showing that self fulfilling prophecy can have an effect in education underachievement. To

Successful Aging Through Participatory Arts Programming...
80 is the new 40:
Successful Aging through Participatory Arts Programming for Older Adults
The United States is in the midst of a major demographic shift. People are living longer which means
that the population of older adults, those sixty years and over, is growing. It is projected that by the
year 2040, older adults will far outnumber school age children. Older adults are currently healthier and
lead more productive lives than ever before, due in part to modern medicine and the new idea of
seeing older people for their potential rather than their problems. This has prompted the concept of
creative aging or successful aging. This positive view of aging is not new, only the terminology.
Cicero, the Roman philosopher, is perhaps the first to introduce the idea of good aging in his essay, On
Old Age which was penned in the year 44 BC. He wrote this essay in his early 60 s to show that old
age is not a phase of decline and loss, and if approached properly becomes a time for positive change
and productive functioning (Baltes Baltes, 1990). Over the last few decades the subject of successful
aging has been the topic of a number of scholarly articles and books and has recently been tied to
participatory arts and humanities programming through agencies that provide services to the older
adult demographic. As public libraries struggle to remain relevant in today s society and respond to the
changing needs of older adult patrons it is important to become more

Keep adding frosting until you get the consistency pretty doughy, but still firm enough to handle.
After kneeding the dough thoroughly you re going to want to roll the dough out inch size balls.
A normal box of cake mix should make about 20 cake pops.
After all the balls are rolled out, they should go in the fridge or freezer for about a half an hour to help
them set. After those agonizing thirty minutes are up, you re able to take the cake pops out of the
refrigerator or freezer, and then melt some almond bark.
After dipping the stick in the almond bark, you re going to want to stick it about halfway through the
now official cake pop .
The chocolate on the stick is to help the stick stay sturdy while you actually eat the sweet treat.
When you ve finished putting the sticks into each of the cake balls, you should put them back into the
refrigerator in order to help the chocolate solidify.
Transition:
The last part we re going to focus on is probably the most simple. Decorating the cake pop.
Using the previously melted almond bark, you can simply dip the cake pop in and spread a thin layer
of chocolate all around the pop.
While the chocolate is still wet, feel free to decorate in any way you d like. For today I just used
simple sprinkles but there

US Supreme Court Case Study
Facts: The parties represented in this case: The National Federation of Independence Business, 26
U.S. states, and many individuals and businesses. These subjects filed against the Secretary of the
Department of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius and other entities. The plaintiffs
challenged the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Act of 2010. The plaintiffs
deemed two provisions unconstitutional, the Medicaid expansion provision and the individual
mandate. The individual mandate provision penalizes U.S. citizens financially if they did not purchase
a health insurance policy. The Medicaid expansion provision required the states to increase in size or
risk losing their existing federal income. The U.S. District Court of Northern District of Florida ruled
in favor for the plaintiffs. The Eleventh Circuit from the Court of Appeals agreed and disagreed in
some areas but concluded that the Individual mandate was unconstitutional. Certiorari was permitted
by the U.S. Supreme Court to resolve the split decision between the appellate courts.

Passing of the individual mandate provision lies within the boundary of congress s constitutional
authority. The Commerce Clause, the Taxing and Spending Clause, and the Necessary and Proper
Clause justified the passing of the individual mandate by the federal government. Most members of
the court favored the Taxing and Spending Clause due to taxation on citizens who fail to purchase
insurance. This clause alone justifies taxing citizens who fail to buy insurance; it forces an activity
where there was none before. (B) No. Passing of the Medicaid expansion provision is not within

Sea Level Rise In Virginia s Tidewater Area
Most people wouldn t pay any mind to care about coastal resilience and the sea level rise in the
Tidewater area of Virginia. However, they are very important to the community and its development.
In the past I was one of those people as well until I knew how much the Tidewater area could be
affected by an extreme weather storm or pipe malfunction. Growing up in Virginia Beach I ve always
questioned why the houses in Virginia didn t have basements. Because Virginia s elevation is
approximately 5,729 feet, the average elevation is 12 feet above sea level, it s considered below sea
level. The Tidewater area in Virginia is known for flooding when there are rain storms or other serious
weather conditions as well. This is not only because of Virginia s elevation level, but also because of
the sewage and waste system. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The sea levels are rising due to the compaction of the groundwater withdrawals, post glaciation
settling, and the effects from the meteor crater in the Chesapeake Bay. The sea levels are slowly rising
in present day but with the hurricanes and nor easters they help aid in making those levels rise faster
of a period of time. If the climate warmed two degrees, the sea levels will rise which will cause the
beaches to erode and create flooding. Due to sea levels rising, about 13.1 million people in Virginia
will be displaced and approximately two billion people in the world. Coastal resilience is the
community coming together to build a stronger community after extreme weather storms or any
hazardous events. This is to make sure that the community is prepared for the next possible hazardous
event so that the impact is less

Studying Stress among Law Enforcement Officers
In contemporary society, a police office is a bonded and warranted employee of a law enforcement
organization, be it a local, regional, or state police force; a federal law agency, or a more specific
correctional facility or other law enforcement organization. The specific reason society has law
enforcement is that groups of people living together do not always exist in harmony, and it is the job
of the police officer to maintain public order, prevent and detect criminal activity, apprehend
criminals, collect evidence, and see that the due process of law is followed within their given duty
range. Under the rubric of the Western democracies, the major role of the police force is to keep order
and discourage crime. Their organization is also asked to assist with emergency and disaster services,
emergency medical situations, and to assist citizens in need. The duties of a police officer vary so
dramatically, that the safety and internal culture of a police force differs from organization to
organization (e.g. a Police Office in a large metropolitan area like New York will have different duties
and dangers than a County Sheriff in a rural Oklahoma area) (Barlow, 2000).
Society has certain expectations of their law enforcement personnel, and that, combined with the legal
aspects and internal stress resulting from the constancy of danger and dealing with the underside of
society, supplies its own pressures to police officers. Officers are often in danger of infectious disease,

I Stand Here Ironing, By Tillie Olsen And Girl By Jamaica...
The mother daughter relationship is often scrutinized, publicized, and capitalized on. Whether from
tell all biographies, to humorous sit coms, or private therapy sessions, this particular relationship
dynamic gives some of the most emotion activating memories. When female authors reflect and write
about their relationships with their mothers, they have a tendency to taint their reflections with the
opinions they have as an adult, reviewing the actions of their mother when they were young. These
opinions set the tone of the story independently and in conjunction with the relationship itself and
manifest in creative literary styles that weave an even more intricate story. Case in point, when
reviewing the two literary works I Stand Here ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is made obvious by the subjective reflections of the now grown daughters as they write about
their relationships with a distorted and one sided view. When individuals describe and evaluate an
important relationship, this accounting of the relationship imparts meanings to the events, actions, and
emotions of their past history, their present interactions, and their anticipated future together.
(Bojczyk, Lehan and McWey) This is how they identify their formative years and how they identify
themselves as daughters to their mothers. Sufficed to say, despite the differences in perspective and
experience, it is nearly impossible for the mother daughter relationship to be clinically reviewed, they
are heavily subjected to the author s opinions and reactions to their mother.
In both stories, the future expectation of a daughter s outcome affects the mother daughter relationship
as seen from both the mother and the daughter. Like the idea of self fulfilling prophecy, if a mother
treats her daughter as a frail being, an invalid, and keeps her daughter shut in, the effect on a healthy
daughter will be to identify themselves as a fragile being who needs to be shut in since that s all they
ve been told. Similarly, when a mother is exceptionally stern and opinionated about their daughter s
sexuality, based on the mother s constant berating and calling the girl a whore, the girl may actually
begin to identify herself

Mandating Seat Belt Usage vs. Freedom of Choice SOC120: Introduction to Ethics and Social
Responsibilities 1 How do you feel when you are told what you will or will not do? You may be told
that it is for your own good, but who has the right to decide what is or is not good for you? After all
who knows you better than you do? This brings me to the topic of my discussion. Even though there
are some statistics that may show a lower rate of injury or death if you wear a seat belt when in an
automobile accident, I do not feel that the government has the right to make wearing a seat belt
mandatory for adults because by making seat belts mandatory it takes away from our right to freedom

That no one has the right to decide what is right for them, and that no one should be able to mandate
what they have to or do not have to do. This topic is no different to them than say, flying in an
airplane. No one tells them that they have to fly in an airplane, which requires putting their life at risk,
yet they themselves make the decision to do so or not. According to our text, Utilitarianism evaluates
whether an act is right or wrong in terms of the act s consequences, and argues that, given a set of
choices, the act we should choose is that which produces the best results for the greatest number
affected by that choice. To break it down even further, the rule utilitarian contends that one should do
things that, as a rule, generate the greatest good for the greatest number (Mosser, K, 2010). I believe
this to be the philosophy that the government has taken into account when establishing the seat belt
mandate laws. They, being those who make these types of laws, are in fact looking out for what they
believe is the greater good for the majority involved. They are not taking into account our god given
freedom to make these types of choices for ourselves. On the other hand, those who oppose the
passage of this law error on the ethical egoism philosophy. This philosophy argues that our moral
evaluations should be made in terms of our desires and goals. Something that promotes what I want is

Bully In Tangerine By Edward Bloor
In 2015, about one out of every four students (22%) reported being bullied during the school year.
Tangerine is a book written by Edward Bloor. The story is about Paul Fisher, the protagonist, who got
blinded by his brother Erik, the antagonist, this all occurred when Paul was in kindergarten and his
brother was in fifth grade. Paul s life is a lie and he finally realizes that his parents have been keeping
this secret from him ever since so that he would not hate his brother, but because of this secret Paul
lived his life hating himself for thinking he was stupid when it was not his fault. Erik Fisher is a
grievous character because he is selfish, violent, and finally because he is a bully. Erik is selfish
because, he wants to be the center of everything, like football. He also just cares about himself and not

violence. Another act of violence is when he tells Arthur to kill Luis. When Erik says You re gonna

Erik is a bully in multiple ways. One example is when he makes a joke about Joey and says I wonder
if he got his money back for those shoes. Joey had no idea what he meant but Paul did. He s also a
bully to his friends by acting all good then having his friends do all the work, then get in trouble. It s
still hard to believe that he s a bully to his brother too, he bullies him by teaming up against him with
his friends then hurting him, like when Erik and Castor blinded him with the spray paint. Selfishness,
violence, and bullying, are all reasons why Erik is an atrocious character. If you follow Erik s path you
will be in great jeopardy, but if you stay on the good side and tell the truth you future will be

Donatello And Chaucer
The Renaissance was a time where education and an understanding of the world was promoted. Art
and architecture were valued and new styles of art were introduced. Two people who had an impact on
the world, both now and during the Renaissance are Donatello and Geoffrey Chaucer.
Donatello was born in 1386 and was the son of Niccolo Di Betto Bardi. He was a sculptor and was
known for his lifelike and detailed sculptures. He was an apprentice of Lorenzo Ghiberti, who taught
him about the science of metals and how to create them. In 1443 he made the bronze equestrian statue
Gattamelata, after the deceased warrior Erasmo De Narni. It had been the first bronze statue since
roman times and created conflict. It would become the baseline for many future equestrian monuments
in Italy and Europe. In 1445 he completed the Magdalene Penitentiary, a twisted figure commissioned
by the Santa Maria Del Cestello convent to motivate the prostitutes there to repent. His most important
work, the bronze version of David was five feet tall and was commissioned by Cosimo De Medici.
(Donatello biography, 2016.) As Donatello s work became popular, Cosimo De Medici would become
a very close friend to him and commissioned most of his work.

The Battle of Pea Ridge and its Impact on the Civil War
The Civil War was a major point in American History. It has influenced everyone in America in many
ways. The War was conducted in two main areas of the United States. These two parts were in the area
east of the Mississippi River and in the area west of the Mississippi River. The control of both of these
fronts was vital for victory by either the Union or the Confederacy. On March 8, 1862, a small
skirmish at Pea Ridge, Arkansas led to the Union s domination of the west. The Battle of Pea Ridge
had a great impact on the civil war by giving control of the west to the Federal forces (Battle).

He had over sixteen thousand men and sixty five large guns (Civil). This was a three to two advantage
over the Federal group of 10,250 men (National).
He wasted this advantage by overworking his soldiers. He did this because he was sitting in an
ambulance while his soldiers were walking the whole way. Many of his soldiers fell to the side of the
road with blisters on their feet, unable to walk anymore. After several days of this, Van Dorn s army
finally reached Bentonville (Civil).
Despite Van Dorn s speedy march through the wintry terrain, the Federals, under General Samuel
Curtis, had learned of the Confederate advance from a Unionist resident of Fayetteville. This made
Curtis decide to concentrate his forces at Little Sugar Creek. He dug in there in wait of the
Confederate forces.
When Van Dorn learned of the Federal s knowledge of his position, he became more determined to
strike a blow against the Federals. He decided to lead his already weary army through a march in a
winter night. As they marched through the night, many more of Van Dorn s men fell out of ranks from
exhaustion. By the morning of March 7, they had reached Telegraph road, their goal. From this
position they could catch the Federals by surprise and force them to surrender (Civil). The Federals,

Analysis Of The Play Murder At The Mic
When an arrogant musician is killed on stage everyone becomes a suspect.
STORY COMMENTS
MURDER AT THE MIC presents as a classic murder mystery with the ultimate question: who did it?
Everyone loves a good mystery. The goal is clear and the stakes are fairly high. The play offers a cast
of offbeat characters, betrayal, secrets, a twist, and a very ironic and delightful ending.
There s definitely a lot to like about the play, but with that said, there s room for additional
development.
The opening introduces most of the core characters. Greg is clearly the main character that the play
centers on. Greg s first words shitty nicely conveys his personality. Essentially, Greg is supposed to be
a shitty guy. He seems to have little ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The idea of the video camera works well too. There s a nice cat and mouse exchange between the
detective and the usual suspects.
The reveal that the detective is really the video guy makes for a good twist that the audience doesn t
see coming. However, consider the idea that once his wig falls off and they realize who the detective
really he, that they try to turn the tables on Hickman and accuse him of being the person sabotaging
the switch and killing Greg. Thus, it s at this point that he makes the reveal that Greg is still alive.
When Greg is revealed to be alive make sure he s condensing to each of the other characters to make
the delightful ending twist work even more effectively when they all conspire to kill him.
The ending is a lot of fun, but with that said, the overall humor could be elevated. It s not the type of
play that has laugh out loud moments. The tone is a bit ambiguous. Prior to the death, the tone feels
dramatic. However, as the play progresses, it feels more like a dark comedy, which is very fitting for
this type of mystery. While humor is subjective, stronger dark comedy with wittier lines of dialogue
would really make this play shine.
Greg feels cocky and entitled. As mentioned, there s room to enhance this. His motivation for the ruse
feels a bit unclear. He says it s for a music video.
This doesn t feel like a strong enough motivation. One wonders if he should tell the

What Is The Theme Of Black Mod By Rosália De Castro
Analysis of the Poem Black Mood by Rosália De Castro According to the Columbia Encyclopedia,
Mariá Rosália De Castro was a very important representative of the Galician poetry romanticism and
if we add the fact that she was a women and a mother of seven children, one would expect her poems
to be gentile and delicate (PoemHunter.com). However, the choice of words and the emotions that
these words create in a reader are powerful, sad, mysterious and overwhelming. There is a certain
degree of heaviness, darkness and sadness that echoes throughout the whole song. The only softness in
this song is the one that is produced by the sounds of the words. In the original song it is the soft
rolling of the characteristic Spanish (Galician) R sombra, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
She wrote some powerful and emotionally charged poems without the necessity of using the end
rhyme. As Girardo said, she made quite of contribution to Spanish and Galician literature her soft and
melancholic words, enriched by the crescendo rhythm patterns and a simple assonance rhyme make
her audience tremble while reading her poems (Oram, 96). She was opened enough to see that even
the death was not an obstacle to feel and express her deep feelings of love and devotion for her son.
Rosália De Castro thought that the life would be empty if we adhered to the logical reasoning only. It
is love that is able to transcendent all the physical barriers and makes us strong enough to cope with
the harsh reality. Although Gerarld Brenan was close to call Rosália De Castro a hysterical women,
because of her tendency to leave no space for a reader to rest/pause for even a bit between her lines
and her overall propensity to go from one extreme emotion state to another, we can, nevertheless
conclude that she left quite an impression on him too enough of impression to write about her poetry

Accomplishments Of Alan Turing
Alan Turing was a world famous mathematician and educator who is known for helping crack the
Enigma Code and his work with computers and artificial intelligence. Alan Turing was born on the
23rd of June, 1912, in Maida Vale, London, England. Starting at a very young age, Alan Turing
showed huge signs of intelligence. Although many of his teachers recognized his intellect, it didn t
mean that they necessarily respected the young man. At the tender age of 13, while attending the well
known and world renown independent boys boarding school, the Sherborne School (located in the
town of Sherborne in Dorsey, England), Alan Turing started to become extremely interested in
mathematics and science. After his time at Sherborne, Alan Turing enrolled in the University of
Cambridge, also known as the King s College, in Cambridge, England, and he studied there from 1931
to 1934. On 1936, Alan Turing delivered a written paper known today as On Computable Numbers,

particular). During his time at Bletchley Park, the Government Code and Cypher School wartime

  • 2. Richard II Authority Richard II was a play that was written by William Shakespeare in his earlier days (1398). This particular play is considered to be his 1st in his history of the tetralogy, which is a series of four games. In this particular piece of literature the author points out several different factors; however, the most relevant factors are in regards to kingship and the role of authority figures and how these characters intertwined within our perception of the way we operate as a community or in this case in England. My understanding of this play is that you have those within life that are all talk and those that are doers such as leaders. Gaunt states, This other Eden, demi paradise (Bevington, 2014 p.341). He is only specifying that England symbolically is a replica of the Garden of Eden. In his speeches, they are powerful due to his imagery descriptions and the visuals he leaves his readers with once he has delivered a speech. Also, within Act 3 scene 4 he mentions the garden again by saying, Thou, old Adam s likeness set to dress this garden (Bevington, 2014 p.356). All of which correlates back to the biblical era when Adam and Eve were in the Garden and their desire associated with the landscape of the garden whereas God had prepared a special place for them to live. Therefore, the imagery perceived from the garden is a beautiful place because he refers to the location as paradise. Now, as a child, my family lived in Hawaii, which too was referred to as paradise due to the beautiful landscaping of the body of waters surrounding the Island, passion fruit, trees, and the vibrant color scheme that was visual to the five senses. All of these elements made our experience of living there resemble elements of paradise, while here on Earth. In another passage, Gaunt refers to England as a blessed plot which means he believes the land is sacred and holy. My perceptive of this statement were linked to the jewel he compares England to a precious stone (Bevington, 2014 p.341). He takes his beliefs ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 4. My Creation Of A Soundtrack For Octavia E. Butler s... Soundtracks to films often strive to represent the themes and feeling of the film, and direct the audience towards particular emotions. A good soundtrack not only allows for the listener to understand the film better, but it should also bring to mind particular scenes, images, or characters. Soundtracks for books can do the same. In my creation of a soundtrack for Octavia E. Butler s Parable of the Sower, I strove to encompass Lauren s journey throughout the novel and the various emotions that she experiences. Since Lauren is reflecting on her experiences, her journey becomes central to how the audience feels and experiences the emotional aspects of the book. The songs not only represent Lauren, but also the entire feel and theme of the text. The songs follow along with Lauren, with her despair, death, and the need for survival. As I scoured through song after song, I tried to connect each song choice with a particular moment in Lauren s story and the hopelessness of a dystopian future Butler warns her audience about. The first track is Things We Lost in the Fire by the band Bastille, and is one of the more literal song selections about the event that triggers the rest of the events in the story to occur: the death of her father, the pyros, the destruction of her community. The song is literally about things that burn up and leave, never to be seen again. Fire plays a key role in the fear aspect of the book; fire is synonymous with chaos. Not only does the song ... Breastfeed Babies for At Least Six Months to Increase Academic Performance Susan Tawia s article, Breastfeeding, brain structure and function, cognitive development and educational attainment, discusses the outcomes of breastfeeding on a child s cognitive development through observation of IQ scores and brain structure development. It was hypothesized that children who breastfed would have better developmental outcomes in terms of education and social than those who were artificially fed. The main method in which the results were obtained were in terms of observation. Researchers observed and measured head circumference, saw the inside of brain development to view important growth within the brain, such as myelin sheath, and in the 1980s, they randomly selected a small number of mothers to breastfeed their children to eliminate bias and answer the question with an experiment. • 6. Major Themes In Sylvia Plath s The Bell Jar The Bell Jar is a roman à clef, which is defined as a true story with changed names. That being said, many of the events included in this book are believed to be events that really happened to the author, Sylvia Plath. A large part of these events revolve around a major theme, which is being trapped within mental illness. Esther, the main character that is based off of Plath s personal journey through mental illness, suffers from one and even tries to commit suicide multiple times. She is very unhappy with her life along with the treatments that psychiatrists have her undergo. Many dated psychiatric treatments did not help patients, and could have even caused them more harm due to lack of research and knowledge about effects of the treatments. Esther is a great example of a patient that could have had a different life if she had received different care. Psychology has made many advances over the course of the last sixty years. Some of these advances include a better understanding of the brain, and other advances include a better way to treat the brain. In The Bell Jar, Esther suffered from a mental illness and had many opportunities to receive help, but because psychology and therapy was not advanced at that time she did not receive much help at all. When Esther initially visits a therapist she spends quite a bit of time revealing to him how she was unable to sleep, drink, or eat and Dr. Gordon asks her a single question before changing the subject and discussing her ... The scandal received its name from the Watergate apartment and office complex that was located in Washington D.C., where a burglary took place on June 17, 1972 and five men were arrested. If we take a close look at human origins, development and varieties of human beings and their societies from a personal perspective, we can to comprehend ones culture from their point of view. Observing another culture without your personal convictions influencing your hypothesis is nearly impossible. With this being said, we must utilize the emic and etic methods during observation, as instructed by anthropologists. These two different methods let the researcher obtain perspective from the outside and from within the social group. In most cases we observe from an outsiders view (etic), but to actually understand and experience another culture or society, one must become an insider (emic), or become part of the culture to fully understand the viewpoints of another social group. During the course of this paper I will examine and explain the importance of rite of passage through etic perspective in order to portray the view of an outsider. The experience that I encountered and its importance in the society in which I lived in will be discussed. I will explain the significance of the rite of passage and the consequences based on historical events. Rites of passage are something that was more accepted in past generations, still existing today just not as evident as they once were. • 12. The Ethics Of Ford Pinto PINTO FIRES CASE The assumption that it s easy to be ethical assumes that individuals automatically know that they are facing an ethical dilemma and that they should simply choose to do the right thing. But decision makers may not always recognize that they are facing a moral issue. Rarely do decisions come with waving red flags. Dennis Gioia was recall coordinator at Ford Motor Company in the early 1970s when the company decided not to recall the Pinto despite dangerous fires that were killing the occupants of vehicles involved in low impact rear end collisions. In his information and overloaded recall coordinator role, Gioia saw thousands of accident reports, and he followed a cognitive script that helped him decide which ... By cutting costs, Ford knowingly created a product which could prove dangerous and fatal to its consumers. Does Ford s ends justify its means? Ford did create a sub compact that sold extremely well and competed fiercely with foreign imports. The goal of the Ford Pinto was met. The costs of this win were substantial however. The money that Ford tried to save by not recalling the vehicle was spent when Ford recalled the Pinto, and extra was spent in compensatory and punitive damages in lawsuits. So the costs that Ford tried to avoid were incurred anyway along with extra. A similar ethical concept to Utilitarianism is that of Rawl s Theory of Justice. Within his theories he states that for something to be both ethical and just it must not infringe on the basic rights and liberties of a person, nor give advantage to any one group but to all with positions and offers available to all equally. In reference to the Ford Pinto, the second statement is upheld. The Pinto being a relatively cheap car which was often a starter vehicle, and as long as a person had the funds and a driver s license, they could own the vehicle. So the design process general design itself was both fair and ethical to Rawls when regarding the second of his two theories of justice. The first theory can be up to interpretation. Growing patterns are a useful counting method that allows students to engage with algebra. Geometric growing patterns best support student s ability to develop functional thinking which is essential. Ways of counting is the second teaching method for calculating functional relationships from the dependent variable. More advanced geometric patterns are a useful analysis towards identifying a way of seeing that leads to a way of counting which is important for students. Markwell (2012) further highlights that a two column graph draws upon a vertical relationship in the right hand column. It is then noted that this will promote recursive thinking as it highlights only the dependent variable and its progression. To developing a high functional thinking, it is required to understand the horizontal relationship between independent and dependant variables. Markwell (2012) highlights the third teaching strategy would be to introduce a three column graph with calculations in the middle which enables students to understand functional relationships (words, symbols and variables), this methods leads to understanding geometric ways of seeing and numerical ways of counting. The Holocaust And The Treatments Of The Holocaust Imagine being in a place with horror, abandonment, torture, suffering, famine, and misery; in a place of death, abuse, a hopeless state of mind; dying is better than going through something like this. This is the exact portrayal of what the victims of the Holocaust have gone through. The Holocaust was the mass slaughter of (mostly) Jews prior to World War II. They put them into concentration camps and more than six million Jews were killed. The Nazi Party were heartless, immoral, and inhumane people who treated the Jews like animals. They thought that the Jews were the reason for the failing economy of Germany. The Nazi party believed they were doing the right thing to annihilate the race of Jews, but no one ever has an excuse to torture people who have done nothing wrong; Jews were experimented on, enslaved, brutalized, and killed; no one should ever go through something like the Jews have during the Holocaust. The Nazis performed sadistic experiments on victims during the holocaust without their consent for the Nazi party advantages. Some victims were froze and heated to death with hypothermia and sunlamp experiments. Two main ways they used to freeze the victim were to put the person in a icy vat of water or to put the victim outside naked in sub zero temperatures. (Medical Experiments of the Holocaust and Nazi Medicine, n.d.) To heat victims, they would put them under sunlamps and waited until their skin was burned. • 16. John Rawls And John RawlsPrinciples Of Justice Views on social justice are highly important to defining the roles of the state within society. The perspectives presented by John Rawls and Robert Nozick demonstrate two extremely different views of societal justice and the roles that the state should have in society. Each of these philosophers give their own principles of justice, which are sets of rules society must follow in order to be just. In this paper, I will analyze the views of each of these thinkers. I will also argue that the Rawls principles of justice are preferable to Nozick s due to Nozick s lack of focus on societal inequalities. To understand Rawls principles of societal justice, it is important to first define exactly what a society is. Rawls defines society as a group of people who cooperate and follow the same rules in order to better their lives. While a society creates benefits, such as increased overall wealth, burdens like taxes are also created. Most members of society would find more benefits and less burdens to be desirable, and as a result, Rawls believes that principles of justice are needed to distribute these fairly. In order to create a just society, Rawls argues that the institutions within society must be guided by the principles of justice. Rawls definition of an institution includes both political or constitutional structures and economic or social arrangements. Examples of institutions by Rawls definition include social practices such as monogamy in family life. According to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Successful Aging Through Participatory Arts Programming... 80 is the new 40: Successful Aging through Participatory Arts Programming for Older Adults The United States is in the midst of a major demographic shift. People are living longer which means that the population of older adults, those sixty years and over, is growing. It is projected that by the year 2040, older adults will far outnumber school age children. Older adults are currently healthier and lead more productive lives than ever before, due in part to modern medicine and the new idea of seeing older people for their potential rather than their problems. This has prompted the concept of creative aging or successful aging. This positive view of aging is not new, only the terminology. Cicero, the Roman philosopher, is perhaps the first to introduce the idea of good aging in his essay, On Old Age which was penned in the year 44 BC. He wrote this essay in his early 60 s to show that old age is not a phase of decline and loss, and if approached properly becomes a time for positive change and productive functioning (Baltes Baltes, 1990). Over the last few decades the subject of successful aging has been the topic of a number of scholarly articles and books and has recently been tied to participatory arts and humanities programming through agencies that provide services to the older adult demographic. Studying Stress among Law Enforcement Officers In contemporary society, a police office is a bonded and warranted employee of a law enforcement organization, be it a local, regional, or state police force; a federal law agency, or a more specific correctional facility or other law enforcement organization. The specific reason society has law enforcement is that groups of people living together do not always exist in harmony, and it is the job of the police officer to maintain public order, prevent and detect criminal activity, apprehend criminals, collect evidence, and see that the due process of law is followed within their given duty range. Under the rubric of the Western democracies, the major role of the police force is to keep order and discourage crime. Their organization is also asked to assist with emergency and disaster services, emergency medical situations, and to assist citizens in need. The duties of a police officer vary so dramatically, that the safety and internal culture of a police force differs from organization to organization (e.g. a Police Office in a large metropolitan area like New York will have different duties and dangers than a County Sheriff in a rural Oklahoma area) (Barlow, 2000). Two people who had an impact on the world, both now and during the Renaissance are Donatello and Geoffrey Chaucer. Donatello was born in 1386 and was the son of Niccolo Di Betto Bardi. He was a sculptor and was known for his lifelike and detailed sculptures. He was an apprentice of Lorenzo Ghiberti, who taught him about the science of metals and how to create them. In 1443 he made the bronze equestrian statue Gattamelata, after the deceased warrior Erasmo De Narni. It had been the first bronze statue since roman times and created conflict. It would become the baseline for many future equestrian monuments in Italy and Europe. In 1445 he completed the Magdalene Penitentiary, a twisted figure commissioned by the Santa Maria Del Cestello convent to motivate the prostitutes there to repent. His most important work, the bronze version of David was five feet tall and was commissioned by Cosimo De Medici. (Donatello biography, 2016.) The Pratt truss bridge is an ideal bridge for its structural mechanics. The design of the Pratt truss bridges combines the elements of internal web members of diagonal and vertical beams. Many of his soldiers fell to the side of the road with blisters on their feet, unable to walk anymore. After several days of this, Van Dorn s army finally reached Bentonville (Civil). Despite Van Dorn s speedy march through the wintry terrain, the Federals, under General Samuel Curtis, had learned of the Confederate advance from a Unionist resident of Fayetteville. This made Curtis decide to concentrate his forces at Little Sugar Creek. He dug in there in wait of the Confederate forces. STORY COMMENTS MURDER AT THE MIC presents as a classic murder mystery with the ultimate question: who did it? Everyone loves a good mystery. The goal is clear and the stakes are fairly high. The play offers a cast of offbeat characters, betrayal, secrets, a twist, and a very ironic and delightful ending. There s definitely a lot to like about the play, but with that said, there s room for additional development. The opening introduces most of the core characters. Thus, it s at this point that he makes the reveal that Greg is still alive. When Greg is revealed to be alive make sure he s condensing to each of the other characters to make the delightful ending twist work even more effectively when they all conspire to kill him. The ending is a lot of fun, but with that said, the overall humor could be elevated. It s not the type of play that has laugh out loud moments. The tone is a bit ambiguous. Prior to the death, the tone feels dramatic. However, as the play progresses, it feels more like a dark comedy, which is very fitting for this type of mystery. While humor is subjective, stronger dark comedy with wittier lines of dialogue would really make this play shine. Greg feels cocky and entitled. As mentioned, there s room to enhance this. His motivation for the ruse feels a bit unclear. He says it s for a music video. This doesn t feel like a strong enough motivation. One wonders if he should tell the ... She was opened enough to see that even the death was not an obstacle to feel and express her deep feelings of love and devotion for her son. Rosália De Castro thought that the life would be empty if we adhered to the logical reasoning only. It is love that is able to transcendent all the physical barriers and makes us strong enough to cope with the harsh reality. Although Gerarld Brenan was close to call Rosália De Castro a hysterical women, because of her tendency to leave no space for a reader to rest/pause for even a bit between her lines and her overall propensity to go from one extreme emotion state to another, we can, nevertheless conclude that she left quite an impression on him too enough of impression to write about her poetry (Oram, ...
