two plates is composed of a mix of transform and convergent boundaries along the
Eastern edge of the Australian plate, with both divergent and convergent boundaries
along the Northern edge. The Australian Plate is moving in a North to Northeastern

Assuming that the Thomson s case is a large analogy, one can argue that a fetus and
the mother have a biological connection together, while the violinist and the abducted

A Reflection Of A Experience For A Second Observation...
For my second observation experience, I went to the MARC. I had the opportunity
to observe a DPT3 student from UTHSCSA who was on his 3rd rotation. The MARC
has a system setup for how they handle each patient, whether it be an initial
evaluation or a regular treatment session. Patients first check in and then are sent to
the waiting room. The technician checks each patients vital signs prior to exercise. I
think this is such an important step that so many clinics don t do. By checking
vitals prior to exercise, you are able to ensure their safety and be the first line of
defense if they are having any underlying heart issues such as unmonitored high
blood pressure. If it is an initial evaluation for the patient, then they will be greeted
by the treating physical therapist and evaluated for treatment. I liked the way they
did this at the MARC but from what I understood the patients are evaluated out in
the gym area with no privacy. I believe with many diagnoses it would be beneficial
for the MARC to have rooms to make the evaluation process more private. If the
patient is presenting to the clinic for a regular treatment session, then the therapist
will either greet them to begin with manual therapyor the technician will start them
on their prescribed exercises. During my experience, the clinic was not very busy
therefore, I only had the opportunity to observe one patient being treated. The patient
was a retired male in his fifties returning for a treatment session. The DPT3 student
explained the pt was diagnosed with tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis most likely
due to his follow through swing when playing golf. The patient stated he had played
in a golf tournament since his last treatment but utilized a homemade brace to help
with discomfort. The patient explained he was able to finish the tournament but was
experiencing a great amount of pain during and after. The therapist then asked the pt
what his level of pain was before starting treatment, then preceded to preform
mobilizations including: radial ulnar anterior and posterior glides both proximally
and distally.1 This coincides directly with what we have learned in class to do for a
treatment intervention. Following manual therapyby the PT, the

justify radical acts of violence because they are specifically male. These behaviors
are often then reinforced by other characters by putting the blame of the male s
actions on another. Female characters in particular are a juxtaposition of the male
role of being reckless, by saying essentially that they are unable to do such things
because they are not men. Examples of these instances are in the plays Much Ado
About Nothing, Othello, and Macbeth.
A parallel scene to this is in Othello. Othello kills Desdemona because he believes
that she was unfaithful to him in scene five. Initially Othello was going to be
executed because it was unknown that he thought Desdemona was disloyal and it was
thought that Othello killed out of hatred. Lodovico talks to Othello, and learns that
Iago had tricked Othello into this. Lodovico does give Othello the consequence of
imprisonment, but this shows that he does not believe that Othello should suffer the
full repercussions of what he has done because he was tricked, and thought that
Desdemona was unfaithful. Even if one is deceived to believe such a thing had
happen, it does not justify killing another. With Lodovico s response, it is verified
that he believes that a natural reaction would be to do so.

After reading chapter 10 of Soul Feast, I thought to myself what could be my rule
of life? Where do I need support in my daily walk with Christ? What is it in my life

Watching Pollan s Series Documentary
INTRODUCTION
I selected to watch Pollan s series documentary instead of his book due to my
difficulties in reading and being a visual learner. I am grateful to Pollen for being
able to see his story as the documentary. This allowed a visual and hearing
experience with the professionals he spoke with within their environment along with
demonstrations of what they were talking about. It was an experience to join the
people from the countries he visited in their homes/work and to learn what he was
taught. This video brings more meaning and life into his story than just words on a
page.
AUTHOR
Michael Pollan is an American author, journalist, activist, and professor of
journalism at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. For the last 25 years
he has written about nature and culture and their intersection in what we put on our
plates, what is in our farms/gardens and in the environment we have built. In 2010,
he was named in TIME s 100 Most Influential People, and received a few other
awards. He does not seem to have a formal education in nutrition, however, based off

How Modern Works Help Embrace the Classical
The tale of Hero and Leander, a story birthed from ancient Greek mythology, is a
powerful story captured through the words of Christopher Marlowe in his almost
epic poem Hero and Leander. Although Christopher Marlowe was unable to
complete this work before his untimely death, his poem lived on to be know as one
of his masterpieces. His work has spawned multiple remixes, each with their own
style and value.
