This document discusses plans for a proposed Peoria Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It outlines the process that was taken to study the project, including public outreach efforts in 2011 and 2013. Route 105 was identified as a locally preferred alternative. If implemented, the BRT system would include 36 stations along the corridor with 15 minute peak frequency service. It is projected to have increasing annual ridership from 1,908 riders per day in 2013 to 4,790 in 2023. The BRT aims to better connect residents with jobs, services and other transit routes through fast, frequent and reliable service.
