Lewisville Estates is an assisted living community that provides maintenance free living for the residents by

supplying homemade cookies, decorating supplies, games and gifts for all attendees

Peggy Elledge  Page 3  cell: 214‐206‐5889    P R O F E S S I O N A L   /   C O M M U N I T Y   D E V E L O P M E N T   Women of AT&T, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX Area Chapter  2000 – Present  Member/Volunteer/Mentor  Women of AT&T is a non‐profit organization and employee resource group organized to connect and inspire  members to achieve personal and professional goals and to affect change in the community.    Key Contributions:   • Volunteer at Women of AT&T sponsored events (food and clothing drives, angel tree, etc.)   • Mentor to peers and administrative assistants on an as‐needed basis  • Attend monthly Lunch & Learn meetings to enhance knowledge level with fellow professionals    Lewisville Estates Assisted Living/Retirement Home, Lewisville, TX  2012 ‐ Present  Volunteer      Lewisville Estates is an assisted living community that provides maintenance free living for the residents by  providing meals, medical, and daily care assistance.      Key Contributions:   • Sponsor and coordinate yearly Christmas Cookie Decorating Party for all residents.  This includes  supplying homemade cookies, decorating supplies, games and gifts for all attendees  • Sponsor and coordinate lunches and dinners throughout the year at my home for several of the  residents    Girl Scouts of USA, Denton County, TX  1993 ‐ 2005  Troup Leader      Girl Scouts of USA is an institution founded by Juliette Gordon Low in 1912 and chartered by the U.S.  Congress on March 16, 1950.   Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make  the world a better place.    Key Contributions:   • Troup Leader for three troops from schools located in Lewisville, TX area (ages 6 – 16 years)  • Coordinated and attend field trips, sports skill‐building clinics, community service projects, cultural  exchanges, and environmental stewardships, to help the girls grow courageous and strong.  • Held weekly Girl Scout meetings and training sessions with the girls to help them relate to others with  increasing understanding, skill, and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the  foundation for sound decision‐making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their  abilities, leadership skills, and cooperation with others
