PDHPE teaches children about personal relationships, health, hygiene, identity and physical activity. It is an important subject alongside core subjects like English, math and science. The goal is to teach children how to lead a positive, safe, healthy and active lifestyle through fun activities like playing outside, sports, and getting an hour of physical activity per day. Healthy foods can also be yummy, and finding balance with diet contributes to well-being.
