This document summarizes the results of an opinion survey on the 2009-10 budget for the IT section conducted from February 25 to March 8, 2009 with 198 respondents. Key findings include: - Only 4% of respondents thought the budget increased emphasis on ICT compared to previous years. - The average rating given to the budget was only 3.12 out of 10. - Respondents were disappointed in government efforts around retaining ICT jobs, promoting competitiveness of the ICT sector, and developing information infrastructure. - Nearly 30% of respondents felt there were no initiatives in the budget that would benefit the ICT sector.
