This lesson plan aims to teach 11th and 12th grade students about teen health problems like STDs. Students will start by sharing what they already know about STDs in a KWL chart. They will then complete a survey about personal health and available resources. The class will discuss how to evaluate the teen STD problem and propose solutions. Students will be put into groups to complete three collaborative projects over the unit. The teacher will provide accommodations for students with disabilities, language barriers, or other needs.
