basis, prescription based on symptom criteria, patients demanding for a fast relief of
symptoms, and unsuitable use of broad spectrum antibiotics without determining if
there is an actual clinical need for it (CDC, 2011). Having knowledge of what is
being treated, educating providers, patients and parents of pediatric patients on the
use of these medications will have a major impact on lowering abuse and/or overuse

Julie Taymor s film adaptation of Shakespeare s Titus Andronicus has many theatrical
elements that aid in creating an interpretation of the written play. One of the most
prominent elements that Taymor uses is color. Taymor uses color to develop
Shakespeare s characters. Many times throughout the film, coloris used to represent a
character s mood or their hidden agenda during a scene. We also see color used to
represent good versus evil. The three colors that are most widely used during the
movie to show symbolism and imagery are black, white, and red. While there are

Again, the color black is used to represent inferiority. Had the fly been a color other
than black, like Aaron as Lucius compares it, Titus would have been angry at
Lucius for killing the fly. When the child of Aaron and Tamora is brought in
(1:43:00), viewers see another instance in which black is used as a negative color.
Since the child s skin is black, like Aaron s, the child must be killed. The black skin
