WORK EXPERIENCE:
 Presently I am working with KAR Oil and Gas, Erbil, in Kurdistan from Feb ‘2014
to Till Date as DCS Operator.
 Worked in HPCL-Mittal Energy Refinery Limited (Guru Gobind Singh Refinery),
Bathinda, Punjab from 6 June 2010 to 31 Jan 2014 as Field/Panel Engineer.
 Worked in R L Fine Chemicals, Andhra Pradesh, from Nov 2007 to May 2010 as
Field Engineer.
 Worked in Rathna Chemicals Pvt Ltd, Andhra Pradesh since August 2006 to Oct
2007 as Field Engineer.
KAR OIL & GAS:
KAR are considered as the 1st local Company in Kurdistan that contributed to the pursuance
of Oil projects in Iraq when it signed a contract with the ministry of Oil to accomplish KHURMALA
OIL FIELD which isolated between Erbil & Kirkuk with a total cost of 135M USD. A total number of
“71” Oil & Gas wells, they are spread across the field and are connected with piping that transports
the Oil & Gas to three collecting stations. And my plant capacity: 220 MMSCFD of Natural Gas and
200000 BPD of Crude Oil.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. KAR Oil Gas, Erbil, Kurdistan | DCS Operator:
 Operation of Gas sweetening and Gas dehydration units.
 Coordinating with Central processing station for Feed Sour gas and treating the same and
exporting to Gas power plant.
 Ensure All the operations are carried out in safe and strict adherence to Permit to Work system
 Trouble shooting of day to day operational problems, there by controlling the production down
time.
 Operate the DCS (Distributed Control System- yokogawa) for plants startup and shutdown
operations in order to meet Company’s objectives and production targets.
 Experience of handling high H2S Content with 5.6 Vol % in feed gas.
 Having Knowledge in Safety shutdown systems logic checks (HIMA) etc.
 Monitor and control all process parameter conditions such as flow rates, pressures,
temperatures, levels, etc, through displays, graphics and trend logs.
 Communicate with field operators for parameter adjustments in field.
 Report to Shift Supervisors in case of parameter abnormalities and process deviations
immediately.
 Makes minor plant adjustments when necessary and reports any serious faults to the
Supervisor with appropriate remedial actions, implements immediately the approved actions,
procedures and standard emergency responses.
 Takes immediate corrective actions to limit risk to personnel, plant equipment and production
during emergency situations.
 Monitor & Control the usage of raw materials, chemicals and other plant utilities effectively to
an optimum level in safe manner.
 Prepare & Assist in preparation of necessary plant - operational reports as requested by Shift
Incharge.
 Ensure the safe shutdown, isolation and blow down of relevant Section / plant during
emergency situations.
 Assist in studying the problem and issues arising in the operation and process to identify
suitable remedial measures.
 Identify and investigate the faults and inform the concerned departments, for remedial action.
 While performing duties we strictly follow HSE policy, standards and approved operating
procedures
COMISSIONING EXPERIENCE
 Commissioning of Gas sweetening and Gas dehydration units.
 Involving all instruments loop checks and logic control narrative checks.
 Preparing draft SOP’s and what if scenario’s for start-up of various systems
 Hydro testing, Nitrogen leak check for total loops in plants
 Involved in Preparing Work plans for the plant system and preparing punch list, loop diagrams
for water flushing, Air flushing etc.
 Involved in PFDP&ID reviewControl narrative checks and completed Loop and logic
checks.
 Having Knowledge in DCS Loop checking, Logic checking’s, Control Narrative checks,
Safety shutdown systems logic checks (HIMA) etc. Punch listing, hydro-test witness,
mechanical clearance, boxing up, and leak testing of piping loops and system.
 Conducting the Pre start-up safety Reviews.
 Commissioning and Start-up of Inlet gas facilities, Gas Processing Units and other Utility
systems.
 Involving in preparation of CAUSE AND EFFECTS diagrams.
 Solo run and load trial of pumps, air fin fan cooler.
Equipments’ Handled:
 Experience in handling various equipment’s like Column, Coalescer Filter, Two & Three
Phase Separator’s, different types of heat exchangers, Pumps, Compressors and Nitrogen Plant
 Handling multiple phase systems, Critical Equipment’s with hazardous compounds.
HSE Exposure:
 Awareness of firefighting system and fire gas system.
 Awareness of safe shutdown system like ESD-1 & 2
 Monitoring safety of the plant and conducting jobs through Safety permit work system.
 Participated in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment training.
 Hands on knowledge in handling hazardous gases like H2S, NH3 and hydrocarbons.
 Trained in Incident Command and Control, Fire Fighting, Emergency Response, Team

2. Guru Gobind Singh Refinery, Bathinda, Punjab | Field/Panel Engineer:
 Operation of Amine Regeneration units.
 Experience in Reviewing Successfully documents like P & ID &PFD of the plants
 DCS Operation, yokogawa( CENTUM – VP)
 The safe, efficient and effective monitoring and operation of all processes, systems, and
 equipment in the assigned area of responsibility.
 Safe starting or shutting down of Units / Platform in co ordination with Manager.
 Provide technical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and resolving operational
problems, &/or identification of opportunities for improvement.
 Active lead team in the field with technicians and operators,
 Co-ordinate with other departments like maintenance, instrument, laboratory and safety
departments
 Managing the daily logbook and weekly construction reports
 The routine starting /stopping of equipment &/or adjustments to the process & equipment
 Reviewing SOP for start-up, shut- down & commissioning activity as well as stable operation.

 Taking the corrective action according to Shift Supervisor advice.
 Issuing work permits for safe operation of plant.
