This document provides an overview of a pattern cutting session that teaches students how to develop skills in reverse engineering apparel products from measurements and technical drawings. The session objectives are to have students take measurements from existing products and specification drawings to understand how garments are developed from 2D concepts into 3D objects using paper or card templates. Students will demonstrate techniques for pattern development including working with blocks, adaptations, and seam allowances.
