3. Sign into Breeze as a Guest
• Enter your First & Last Name in the provided guest
box and click on "Enter Room.”
• Plug in a set of headphones
• Make sure that your volume is not muted.

3. What counts as an online environment?
• Instant Messenger? FaceBook? OnCourse? Skype?
• Indiana University’s online environment of choice is
called Adobe Connect (formerly Breeze)

4. Features of Adobe Connect
• Sharing files (PPT, PDF, JPEG, WORD etc…)
• Sharing the Desktop, Applications or Windows
• Changing the Status
• Audio & Video Sharing
• Instant Feedback (Polling)
• White Boarding
• Set up break out sessions if you have a large group

• If you look to your left you should see a chat window.
o Type your responses there.
• Look at the Map of the United States. Please type
your favorite Vacation Spot in the USA in the chat
window.

8. Returning to the real world!
• Please:
o Exit the virtual room
o Close the Adobe Connect Page
o Mute your volume again
o Take your headphones off and give it to our ULAs
o I’ll see you back in the lab in a few minutes.
• While you’re waiting be sure go back to the first
slide and sign into the websites required.
