Parnayavani- Coleus ambioinicus 
Introduction:- 
It was not been told in brahttrayas, it was entered in materia 
medica of India in 9th AD.it was mentained by P.V.Sharma as 
Yavanivishesa. Features of this plant resembles Khurasani 
Ajwain. Vranda Madhava quoted its Krimigna property 
But now Coleus forskolin is used instead of Coleus 
ambioinicus

Morphology:- 
Herb, fleshy and highly aromatic, much branched 
Shaft- fleshy 
Leaves- 1-2 inch length , ovate dentate edged, 
chordate, thick & hairy. The taste of this leaf is 
pleasantly aromatic with agreeable and refreshing 
odour. 
Flowers- are on a short stem , pale purplish.
