2. Beau
Beau (17) was born and raised in South East London. He
started singing in secondary school in a band, when the
band didn’t work out he decided to go solo. He has played
acoustic guitar since the age of 12.
His style is inspired by James Morrison, and Edd Sheeran.
Beau’s target audience is going to be teenagers/young
adults aged 14-25. Our primary audience is females and
secondary would be males. Beau is going to be targeted at
‘indie’ people, who are very laid back and have interest in
going to festivals.

You Give Me Something lyrics
Songwriters: Morrison, James; White, Francis Eg;
You want to stay with me in the morning
You only hold me when I sleep 'Cause you give me something
I was meant to tread the water That makes me scared, alright
This could be nothing
Now I've gotten in too deep But I'm willing to give it a try
For every piece of me that wants you Please give me something
Another piece backs away 'Cause someday I might call you from my heart
But it might me a second too late
And the words that I could never say
'Cause you give me something Gonna come out anyway
That makes me scared, alright
This could be nothing 'Cause you give me something
But I'm willing to give it a try That makes me scared, alright
This could be nothing
Please give me something But I'm willing to give it a try
'Cause someday I might know my heart Please give me something
You already waited up for hours 'Cause you give me something
That makes me scared, alright
Just to spend a little time alone with me This could be nothing
And I can say I've never bought you flowers But I'm willing to give it a try
I can't work out what they mean Please give me something
I never thought that I'd love someone 'Cause someday I might know my heart
Know my heart, know my heart, know my heart
That was someone else's dream
4. Image & costume
Beau has an indie style and wears casual clothes such
as skinny jeans, checkered shirts, converse, t-shirts.
Etc.
He doesn’t dress to impress for any of his gigs, or
follow any mainstream trends.
In the music video he will stick to this style as we
want it to remain consistent.
We want him to be represented as individual and
someone who doesn’t follow the crowd.
5. Locations
Bexleyheath Broadway (performing locally)
Quiet streets in welling (neighborhood)
Bexleyheath train station
Danson park
6. Narrative
His is lost in his music; to him sharing music is the norm.
Equilibrium; we start of see Beau performing in a public
place, expressing his feelings about the girl he lost.
Dis- equilibrium; Beau then goes off search for the girl,
he looks lost and emotional
New- equilibrium; he is walking in the park, still
emotional; he then suddenly spots her in the distance,
drops his guitar, and runs towards her.
7. Vision for our music video
Our music video is to tell a story. As our artist Beau is singing he is looking or
chasing after a girl.
However, it isn’t going to be the typical cliché soppy, romantic video. He sings in
different locations as he tries to find the girl, sharing his music with the public.
The locations are everyday public places because we want him to be portrayed as a
normal person, and not a top celebrity caught up in the limelight.
He is going to wear his everyday clothes in the video also to remain the normal
personality we are trying to portray.
We’re hoping this will approach the right target audience who likes indie artists
who sing because they have a passion for singing and music, not because of the
fame and money. This is the image we are aiming to get across to the audience for
this new artist.
The method that we will be using is stop motion but we will also use footage, shot
on a camera, where he is singing in public.

9. Interscope Record Label
We have chosen Interscope as it a diverse record label and
produces a variety of different genres of music.
The original focus of the label was hip-hop and urban but
in the 90’s it’s range began to expand, including industrial
rock.
James Morrison was also signed by this record label, so
we felt this would be suitable for Beau.
