produced a number of socially significant films that raised
awareness about growing problems of their times. They are now
one of the biggest film institution producing many blockbuster

Warner Bros make all sorts of different films and TV programmes
and they don’t stick to a particular genre. They have created
cartoons such as ‘Loony Tunes’ and ‘Tom and Jerry’, action films
including ‘Batman’ and ‘Superman’ and the Harry Potter films so
they make entertainment for all ages and all target audiences.

worldwide. Its films have won 11 Academy Awards and 38
BAFTAs. Working Title Films got their unexpected success from
their film ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ in 1994, it is a British
comedy and became the highest grossing British film in cinema
history with a gross of $245,700,832 and its budget was $4,500,000.
Working Title Films have also produced other successful films
including ‘Billy Elliot’ ‘Notting Hill’ and ‘Bridget Jones Diary’.
Their films don’t have a specific target audience however they
have made films that would suit most age groups.
4. Aardman is British animation studio based in Bristol. They
are known for films made using stop-motion clay animation
techniques, particularly those featuring Plasticine characters
Wallace and Gromit. Aardman films have made $969
million worldwide and average $161 million per film. All of
their stop motion films are among the highest-grossing stop-
motion films; Chicken Run being their top-grossing film as
well as the highest-grossing stop-motion film of all time.
Aardman was founded in 1972 as a low-budget project by
Peter Lord and David Sproxton. They have created well
known animations such as Flushed Away, which had a
budget of $149 million and a gross of $178.1 million and
Shaun the Sheep Movie that had a budget of $25 million and
a gross of $100.8 million. Lots of their movies are made for a
