Ninja Rush is a classic shooter game where the player kills enemies to pass through levels. To complete a level, the player must not get killed by falling, getting hit by a ninja star, or hit by a ninja. As levels progress, the story and gameplay become more complex, with new chapters starting every five levels featuring a boss battle. Each chapter increases difficulty with more enemies, but also allows the player to collect more points for upgrades. Client feedback web banners
The client provided feedback on graphics and visual design of web banners for a game. The graphics in the banners effectively depicted the game's imagery and helped visualize it. The layout linked well to the game by using its setting as a background, helping viewers understand what the game is about. The use of direct language like "Download now" encouraged players to click and play. Some areas for improvement included giving the text more of a professional style and simplifying banners with larger amounts of text.
Edited Photos
I began by using Auto tone to enhance the color and reduce the bland look of the photograph. I then increased the vibrance to bring out the bright reds and greens. Next, I used the Magnetic lasso tool to separate the rose petals from the background, brightening the rose and removing shadows. I converted the background to black and white to contrast it from the bright rose. Finally, I cropped the image to better follow compositional rules like thirds.

- 1. Gameplay concepts: Ninja Rush is a classic shooter orientated game. The player engages with gameplay such as killing or defeating enemies to pass though the level and collect points. Once the player passes through the level without getting killed or dying they will complete the current level and pass through to the next one. Certain ways of dying include, falling off a platform, getting hit by a ninja star or getting hit by a ninja. Gameplay methods allow you to jump over platforms and shoot ninjas to proceed through the level. As the player proceeds through each level the storyline becomes more complex and the gameplay elements change. Every five level a new chapter begins where the player must face a ‘Boss’ at the end of the fifth level. After defeating the ‘boss’ they proceed to the new chapter in which the player 1 character Agent Slick is in a new setting. Each chapter the gameplay gets slightly harder as more ninjas/ enemies appear making it harder to pass through the level but also allowing the player to collect more points to then gain upgrades for upcoming levels. Platform Specific concepts: A unique feature of the game is that as well as playing through levels there is certain feature that allows the player to engage in a ‘endless runner mode’ where you can aim to gain the highest score without being defeated or dying. This certain mode is similar to the original gameplay but there is no end to the level giving it an endless runner theme. 17/03/14
