This document describes an extracurricular gardening project at Katyciai Basic School of Silute Region from 2015-2017. The project involved students in grades 5 through 9 growing an herb garden under the guidance of biology teacher Brigita Vitkauskienė. The objectives were to teach students about medicinal herbs and how to cultivate them. Over the course of the project, students prepared the soil, formed beds, sowed seeds, observed the plants' growth, and cared for the garden by watering and weeding. At the end, students demonstrated their knowledge of herbs and gardening skills.
