This document summarizes the activities of the Comenius Project 2013-2015 between Tilgnerova School in Bratislava, Slovakia and partnership schools in Turkey, Croatia, Poland, and Bulgaria. The following key activities are described: - Students introduced their schools and countries through presentations and researched their partner countries. - The schools collaborated to create a joint project logo and dictionary in their languages. - Students learned about traditional Slovak crafts like beekeeping and participated in cultural activities around Christmas traditions. - Mobility exchanges were organized where students visited and learned about the culture in Croatia and Turkey. - Throughout the project, students engaged in crafts, cooking, dance, and other

10. Traditional Slovak Crafts
Beekeeping
October 2013
The aim of an expedition was to learn about traditional
Slovak crafts and especially about beekeeping. Children
watched a short film about bees, they learned how to
behave and react when the bees are near. They had an
opportunity to explore the premises where honey is
produced, to taste different types of honey, and then
they were making candles from the beeswax.

November 2013 – January 2014
Every partnership country suggested logo which would
specify the idea of our project Friendship of Dances
in a best way. Voting took place in January and
in a really strong competition our Slovak design won.

13. Our Dictionary
November, December 2013
We agreed about the choice of the words
which we include into a minidictionary
in English and national languages. Each school
recorded a video to convey the correct
pronunciation. It was interesting to follow
a similarity of some words.

Čačky-voňačky (scented baubles) – how to make
