The Tatra chamois is a mountain goat that lives in the high mountains of Europe. It has a short fur in the summer and a long, thick fur in the winter to withstand cold temperatures. Tatra chamois weigh between 30-50 kg, are 1.1-1.3 m in length, and have an average lifespan of 15-20 years. They give birth to a single calf in May or June and feed on wild fruits, grass, and breast milk.
