Nervous Denotation: Fast-acting control system of the body; responds to internal and external changes by activating appropriate muscles and glands Connatation ,[object Object]

The brain also play a MAJOR part with the nervous system*Now don't get too excited cuz we are not going into details about this now!*

Endocrine Denotation: Glands secrete hormones that regulate processes such as growth,reproduction, and nutrient use (metabolism) by body cells Connotation ,[object Object],*DID YOU KNOW THATMOST PEOPLE USE THE TERM "METABOLISM" INCORRECTLY?!*

Cardiovascular Denotation: Blood vessels transport blood, which carries oxygen, carbon dioxide, nutrients, wastes, etc.; the heart pumps blood Connotation ,[object Object],*Sucky connotation.....e.e*

Lymphatic Denotation: Picks up fluid from blood vessels and returns it to blood; disposes of debris in the lymphatic stream; houses white blood cells involved in immunity Connotation ,[object Object]

Respiratory Denotation: Keeps blood constantly supplied with oxygen and removes carbon dioxide; the gaseous exchanges occue through the walls of the air sacs of the lungs Connotation ,[object Object]

Responsible for O intake and the release of CO2*Did you know that if you are unable to breathe through the mouth and nose... just poke a hole in your throat and you'll live!*

Digestive Denotation: Breaks food down into absorbable units that enter the blood for distribution to body cells; indigestible foodstuff are eliminated as feces Connotation ,[object Object],*Did you know a cow have 5 stomachs?*

Urinary Denotation: Eliminates nitrogenous wastes from the body; regulates water, electrolyte, and acid-base balance of the blood Connotation ,[object Object],*Is purified urine drinkable?*
