This argument analysis will be on the presentation from a woman whose nephew had
been permanently injured to do a teenage driving accident. We watched in class
called Putting the Brakes on Teenage Driving . The speaker provided a policy claim
that the government should raise the legal age to drive in the United States. The
speaker talks about how there are too many accidents that cause death or injury that
involve teenage drivers. The speaker outlines 4 main arguments; inexperience, brain
development, night driving, and teenage passengers. During the end of the analysis
the speaker provides 3 possible solutions to implement in order to lower the number
of accidents caused by teenage drivers.
The first claim the speaker makes is that teenage drivers are too inexperienced. The
speaker presents one supporting piece of evidence. This evidence is that new
drivers do not have enough behind the wheel training, which does not give them the
opportunity to advance their driving skills. I believe that there is faulty in this
argument because as stated by the speaker there will always be inexperienced drivers,
even if the driving age is 21 or even 25 (Unknown 42).
The second claim the speaker makes is that teenage brains are not fully developed.
To back the claim the speaker provided two opinions from experts as evidence. The
first comes from the National Institute of Mental Health suggests that an average 16
year old brain has not developed to the point where he or she is able to effectively
judge the risk of the situation. (Unknown 46). The second opinion comes a professor
from the University of Colorado who performed a study that lasted 5 years that took
traffic records of 16 year old drivers and compared them to records of drivers among
the ages of 25 to 49. To conclude his study, he states 16 year old drivers displayed
deliberate risk taking, dangerous and aggressive driving behaviors (Unknown 52). I
believe that this evidence provides helpful insight to the claim. However, this
evidence may be skewed. Using the traffic records from the age group of 25 to 49
over a course of 5 years could overlap drivers since the drivers who were 25 in the
first year of data may still contribute to the data 3 years later

compete in happen to be for piano. For six years now, I have been taking piano

is a competition for first, second, and third place. The festival contains the categories
of beginner, intermediate, late intermediate, and advanced. Taking place every
February or March, Sonatina Festival comes to life.
At the age of 12 or 13, I walked through the doors of the church the festival occupied
for the second time in my life. Spending the past 5 months learning and memorizing
a song was unquestionably going to pay off. That first place under the intermediate

the default strategies of each player from the instructions/parameters of the algorithm.
It is also not particularly hard to find the optimal solution to an algorithm either. In
algorithmic mechanism design, it would be the goal of the algorithm designer to
fashion the algorithm in such a way that causes the Nash equilibriumto be the same as
the Pareto optimal (or at least close to optimal) result. This would mean that it would
be impossible to make any player better off in the game without hurting another

In 1900 in China, an underground association supported by peasants, the Society of
the Righteous and Harmonious Fist, initiated attacks against Christians, foreigners
and foreign property. They were labeled Boxers , due to their martial arts fighting

There were three main causes of the Boxer Rebellion.
The primary cause was anti foreign sentiment. China suffered a series of devastating

The Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative is a perfect example of such efforts in
Boston, Massachusetts. The neighborhood was plighted with all the aforementioned
disadvantages, such as red lining, burnt down houses, and then the empty lots became
a dumping grounds. Through the neighborhoods efforts, they raised awareness of
their issue and got changes in policy to prevent dumping. They also utilized imminent

The Importance Of A Successful Firm Is Good
Communication
The cornerstone to a successful firm is good communication. Without it, there is
confusion, resentment, and a blurry vision for the direction the company wants to go.
In order to ensure there is successful communication amongst the managers and its
employees of the firm, a communication contract should be created. This contract
establishes ethical communicationand rules for which each individual is to follow
when communicating with others. Aside from creating excellent communication
within the firm, the communication contract creates long lasting benefits for the firm
and creates a solid foundation.

I have developed my skills in computer software installation throughout this study
and I ve found that it is simple to install an operating system, but there are a lot of
potential difficulties along the way. I ve learned about basic Linux programming

Going into the testing I was expecting it to be a lot like my EMT B practical
testing. I expected the tests to be scenario based, with a list of things the students
had to do. I was expecting the format to be stricter ex: having to say BSI right away

When Milkman talks with the shopkeeper Mr. Solomon, he grows up the

The Meiji Restoration
During the Meiji Restoration, Japan went through many changes as it was exposed
to foreign powers such as Europe. One of the political changes that occurred was
that Japan was forced to begin interaction with their foreign peers as they came with
their several innovations that were incredibly advanced compared to what Japan
could offer at the time. This not only exposed their in ability to compare to their
peers, it also revealed that they were technologically backwards in the eyes of their
peers. As Japan continued to interact with their neighbors, Japan adopted several
sayings that embodied the goals they had in the effort to catch up to and match their
foreign peers as well as other changes in the effort of forming a new society that can
match their peers. When Japan became open to the world powers like Europe, Japan
went through a transformation that modernized Japan and inherently changed their
society to reflect something similar to those in European countries. In Japan, their
first reaction to being forced out into the open interaction with powers like Europe
was to immediately develop ways to match their power. One of their reactions
included adopting sayings that stated goals for Japan that would benefit its power.
Another response was to authorize new official documents that affected Japan as a
whole. A large change that occurred was the shift in government, shifting from
feudalism to an empire with a single emperor. These changes were factors that in time

Introduction
Within certain environments such as casinos or betting houses, it is not uncommon
to see individuals choose sub optimally, meaning individuals will often choose
options that offer a high reinforcement outcome but with a lower probability of it
occurring than a safer choice that would offer less reinforcement but more reliably. In
animals, it would be expected not to see this behaviour, for instance, optimal foraging
theory (Pyke, 1984) argues that an animal s ability forage ultimately effects there
overall evolutionary fitness in terms of ability to survive and the ability for the
genes to be passed on. Therefore, choosing risky behaviour would ultimately be a
deficit to their survival. However rather Paradoxically, animals do indulge in very
similar gambling behaviours to that seen in humans (Stagner Zentall, 2010).
Gipson, Alessandri, Miller, and Zentall (2009)was able to show this phenomenon to
which they provided pigeons with two alternative keys a 50% discriminative chain,
meaning it had two light that represented reinforcement or no reinforcement. A
secondly a key that provided food 75% reinforcement on a non discriminatory chain,
meaning that it had a single contingency. what they found was that pigeons would

The Outsiders by S.E.Hilton is one of the most well known books of all time. S.E.
Hilton was born in July 22, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She wrote the book, when
she was fifteen, and it was published during a first year in college at the University
of Tulsa (Hinton). The book made a huge impact. The book sold more than 14
million copies, and it s the number one selling young adult book in history
(Hinton). She would become really popular, and she would be would be known as
The Voice of the Youth. The book is about two gangs the Socs and the Greasers
that have a different lifestyle. The main character Ponyboy would have his life
change forever, when something big will happen. The 1960s made an impact to The
Outsiders. The book have historical background, social context and numerous
cultural context. First of all, the book was released in 1967. The 1960s was the year
of Rebellious. There was The Vietnam War, Cold War
and John F Kennedy
assassination. During the Vietnam War, it was war between the North and the South.
The United Stateswould enter the war because they wanted to end communism
from spreading ( Vietnam War ). It would cause a lot of problems. Teenagers and
adults would protest and be rebellious about the war. They didn t want the US
troops to enter the war. It was one of the biggest news in the 1960s. The United
States would lose more than 47,000 that was killed in action, 10,000 are missing in
actions, and 150,000 that are hurt real badly during the war
