1. 1. Which tools did you use to complete the task and
describe how you used them to complete your self
portrait.
I took a self portrait using photo booth, and then I used
the pen tool in Photoshop to trace around my body and
head.
Once I had selected the piece I had traced around, I
used the bucket tool to fill in the selected area with
thecolour of my choice
2. Were there any parts of the task/specific tools which
you found difficult and if so, what were they and why?
The task I found most difficult was drawing straight lines
using just a mouse and no mouse mat, this was hard
because them mouse would often jitter whilst brushing
fine lines with the pencil tool.
3. Finally, how successful were you in completing the
given brief and what improvements would you make next
time.
Personally I do not think that my opie was successful at
all, it looks quite poor, if I were to re-do the task, I would
spend a lot more time perfecting the little things and
making sure that I didn’t leave any white spaces.
