Description
Provide oversighttooperationsrelatedtodaily,mid-term, andlong-termresource planning. Involve all
stakeholderstoestablishan *OperationsPlaybook. Helpensure thatworkflow andprocessesare smooth. Focus
on arrangingfor mostefficientresourcingwhilemaintainingoverallTSC - IT Service Deskmetricgoals.
Service Level Management
Continuallymonitor,analyze,andreviewthe level of service the TSCprovidestoourclients.
· Be knowledgeable of currentTSCteams’scopesandprocesses
· Monitorreal-time telephone performanceandticketbacklogstoensure bestclientexperience and
optimize resources.
· Ensure agreed-uponITservicesare deliveredontime. WorkwithSupervisors andSeniors.
· Servicesare providedinacost-effective,safe,andefficientmanner
AvailabilityManagement
Monitor andtrack call volume forpeaks,trends,outagesandmake recommendationstostaff accordingly.
· Ensure each teamhas minimumrequiredresourcesforoperations
· Assessriskandimpactswhenshiftingresourcesfromone phone skill toanother
- ReviewAttendance log,Vacationschedules,andTrainingandtailboardmeetingswithSeniorsand
Supervisorstoensure propercoverage andsupport.
· Establishagreed-uponprocessesandprioritylevelsforreallocatingresources
· Reviewanytrendingwhichmaycause animpactto clientservice andteamsupport. Share resultswith
SupervisorsandSeniorsforawarenessandinclusion.
Capacity Management
Supportsoptimumandcost-effective supporttothe end-user
· Measure workvolume andassessif currentresourcescan provide support
· Provide recommendationstoSupervisorsandSeniorsonhow tooptimize processesasneeded
IT Service Continuity
Establishacourse of actionin the eventthe TSCis down. Ensure that clientsknow where togoto reachus by
phone,website,orchat.
· Work withManager,SupervisorsandSeniorsto prioritizeactivitiestobe performedineventof adisaster
· Performriskassessmentforeachteamanddevelopcontingencyplanstobe includedinOperationsPlan
