Operation theatre techniques are aseptic procedures used to prevent infection when internal organs are exposed during surgery. This includes hand washing, gowning, gloving, masking, and preparing sterile equipment and the patient. Instruments are placed on a sterile trolley after it has been sprayed and wiped down. The patient is also positioned to allow access for surgery while maintaining sterility.

2. INTRODUCTION:-
Operation theatre is a sensitive place. Because here the
internal organs of the patients body come in contact with
the environment. Therefore it is necessary to keep it
infection free.

3. DEFINITION:-
“the work that is done in aseptic technique, its called Operation
theatre techniques”.
It includes;-
•Hand washing

11. PREPARATION OF STERILE TROLLY
• First wash your hands and dry with sterile towel.
• Wet trolly with sterile spray and wipe with towel.
• Open the sterile towel with sponge holding
forceps.
• Place the surgical instruments on trolly.
• Cover the all instruments with sterile towel, and
open the time of surgery.
• Place the instruments and towels in the wash
basin.
