The OpenAIRE webinar on June 12, 2019, aimed to improve access and re-use of research data from Horizon 2020 projects by providing guidelines on developing Data Management Plans (DMPs) and enhancing data sharing practices. Participants were encouraged to make their data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) and provided with steps on how to write a DMP, select suitable data repositories, and deposit data appropriately. The session emphasized the importance of balancing openness with necessary restrictions while ensuring compliance with the Open Research Data Pilot requirements.
