WiFiWave mesh technology allows for monitoring and management of large areas through a self-organizing WiFi mesh network of ESP32 nodes. The technology is easy to install, potent, with fast and self-organizing dynamic networking that is a good fit for many applications demanding security and easy wireless expandability. Each node can communicate with any other node in the mesh and act as an access point or router to expand the network coverage.

5. Bulgaria is Leading in Open Source Hardware
in Europe and is 2nd in the world after USA
6. Traditional WiFi
●
Point to Point or
●
Point to Multi Point
●
All nodes connect to
WiFi Router
●
Routers has limits for
the connected nodes
●
Limited coverage
7. WiFi ESP32 mesh
●
Self organize
●
Self expanding
●
Self managing
●
Self balancing
●
Each node can talk to any
other node in the mesh
and act as AP and router
8. WiFi ESP32 mesh II
●
One node is elected as root and
make the connection to outside
WiFI AP
●
If root is down new root is
elected
●
If nodes are disconnected the
newtwork changes it’s internal
routing dynamically
9. WiFi ESP32 mesh III
●
Up to 100-200(?) m in one hop between nodes
●
Up to 1000 nodes in one mesh (typ. 500)
●
Up to 10 connections per node
●
Up to 25 hops
●
Up to 10Mbit transfer (typ. 2Mbit)
●
500 nodes build mesh in 30s
●
Many mesh networks can co-exist
●
Each Mesh have ID and PASS, Each node have
MAC and NAME
●
OTA firmware upgrade
10. WiFiWave – upgrade ESP32-mesh
●
Add https and authentication when talk to
the root from local network
●
Add platform independent App for mesh
configuration and programming via USB
●
Add new node functionality, interfaces,
drivers
●
Add OLinuXino server for connections to
outside world and data logging
11. WiFiWave node interfaces
●
Digital Input → reflective, inductive, proximity
sensors, switches, buttons
●
Digital output → relay contacts
●
I2C master → temperature, humidity, pressure,
air quality, light, magnetic field, GPIO, DIO, AIO,
RTC
●
SPI master → LCD, LED displays, fast sensors,
audio, video cameras
●
Timer, Counter, Sunrise, Sunset
15. Summary:
WiFiWave mesh technology is easy
to install and use, very potent
