Sigfox operates a global low-power network that allows connected devices to send small messages up to 12 bytes and 140 times per day using a proprietary radio protocol. Devices can communicate simply by powering on the module and sending a message, which is then received on the developer's server, and two-way communication is possible through responses from the application server.
